My feminine plans this year: Do a glow up that would consist of: - take care of my skin better to have a glowing complexion - sleep routine to be followed religiously - fix the eyebrows professionally - meet with a colour specialist who would advise on what colours to follow with clothing and perhaps what styles would be most flattering - meet with a good hairstylist to have advice on the best hair colour, cut and how to style it easier & better - let go of old resentments or hurts to be more happy and positive - have my manicure taken care of at most/all times to feel put together :) I do it myself but i slip up and sometimes abandon it - upgrade the way i dress to feel more feminine and beautiful

Secodly- shoes- I can't and wont wear high heals all the time. I stand a lot, too - so shoe wise, I have difficult time being pretty and practical at the same time. I love this channel so much because I’m sick of everyone expecting women to act like freaking men!!! We are not men!!
@thedepths4325 жыл бұрын
I never understood that sentiment because it always seemed kinda contradictory to me. A woman can’t act like a man because she is a woman, a woman who acts like a man is actually a woman acting like a woman because there isn’t actually a singular objective way that men or women actually act, they just act like themselves as people first and foremost. It’s kinda the same idea that people view muscular women as masculine, except it’s not because it’s a woman’s body! And a woman’s body is feminine because it’s a woman!

I use to think I dressed fairly modest and feminine because I didn't wear booty shorts and low cut shorts. Once I started taking it more seriously than that and embraced longer skirts and dresses, I swear everything changed. It really makes the way you carry yourself completely different. It was also a journey like you said; don't expect to wear a dress for a day and feel any different. It is a long process that grows and flourishes from within. Thank you for your content! ❤

So I feel like a channel with this type of content has a high potential to be highly materialistic or “bitchy”, if you will. But you are not that way AT ALL! You come off as incredibly genuine and kind. I was afraid to click on this video because even though I was interested, I’m constantly scared that something will trigger my eating disorder and perfectionism issues. But I did not walk away from this with any level of insecurity or shame. Thank you for creating a channel about femininity and elegance without establishing undertones of shame. I feel like that’s not an easy environment to create in the beauty/elegance/self improvement world. I know with other channels the shaming is often done unintentionally, but still. Thank you thank you thank you!!❤️❤️😊

I chose “femininity” as my quality to cultivate in 2020. One of the ways I’ll do that is to wear dresses more even in the colder months (hello tights & pretty boots!). I tend toward jeans in the Winter, especially for work. Also, prettier makeup-a subtle eyeshadow or a brighter lip. I’d like to add more color to my wardrobe, too! I couldn’t agree more with “forgiveness”! I actually got right with God before the start of this new year & I don’t know why I waited so long! 🙏🏻 Love your content, happy new year!

Kimberly S winter is actually perfect for feminine work wear! My professional wardrobe involves some incredibly warm, thick tights (warmer than my jeans), heels, work skirt (to the knees, can be cotton or wool for extra warmth), a shirt (again, can go for cotton or even wool or cashmere for warmth), and a nice scarf. Very feminine, and also infinitely more comfortable than jeans! Pair it with a cute woolen trench coat for outside :) I love going into work and don’t know what to wear that’s feminine outside the office in the winter 😅

I was bullied out of the public school I worked for as a teacher by my colleagues, just because of my "soft" look and nature. They sent me naughty messages, told me I'm dumb, not authentic and have "problems with myself" multiple times and the school principal, who should be my protector, tried to get sexual with me over and over again.. I was raped in my early 20s by an uncle and felt the need to tell this to a female colleague who is my age, because with my PTSD it all got so overhelming. She always told me I could trust her and that she would be on my side. The next day everyone knew that I was raped once and they made fun about it subliminally. I felt so lost, especially after a therapist told me that all their behaviour is actually my fault and that I should stay in that school no matter what. How? And why? I just tried to work in peace and had so many hopes and goals. Some people are really demonic. After a few months I couldn't accept the situation anymore and moved out and away. I know my worth, my qualities and my qualifications! Always listen to your heart! Principals and doctors are just human and service providers, too! Sometimes they don't know it better and do horrible things! Listen to your heart, take off the mask and never deny yourself! Nina Simone said “You've got to learn to leave the table. When love's no longer being served" When people have no love in their hearts whatsoever and are draining your energy just to destroy you, then don't be passive! Move! You can always make money somewhere else but your health may never come back

I've struggled to let go of some bitter, angry feelings, especially when I feel justified in my feelings. But, anger and resentment shouldn't be allowed to just fester. I can feel how it is hardening my heart. That's not who I am! I absolutely love your points! One thing you mentioned when speaking of forgiveness I didn't totally agree with... I don't think anyone needs to accept Jesus as their savior to be a forgiving person. So many agnostic, atheist, Muslim, Hindu, Buddhist, Wiccan, spiritual, non-religious, etc. people are incredibly forgiving.

Funny, I just bought new things to wear under my clothes before I saw this vid. and I'm looking to get me some CC cream since I don't do involved makeup, really I've never done makeup, and need something easy and natural looking. Have leveled up in 2019 now looking to go deeper into my femininity. I feel like why is this a thing now that I'm 50? Aren't I too old for this? I have found that femininity is intuitive since it's in women. Once you decide to explore it, it gets easy and fun! I've done so much practical stuff to change.

Love this. Thanks for sharing❤️ There is a story of Marilyn Monroe that people recall her aura as stepping between clouds floating on as if she was weightless. I like this idea not just as a look but as a mood. My goal is to work on my homemaking! I have just been in survival mode going through the motions but not tying a bow on top!

I have no words to explain how inspired I feel after watching your video. My goal is to get ready a little more often... I recently got married and i have been so busy that i barely do my makeup and always just put on my tinted moisturizer and wear my glasses. I want to take more time to put on my contacts, do my makeup (nothing heavy just simple accentuating my features). Also to wear my nice purse when I go out instead of my heavy bag I take everywhere... And maybe wear more jewelry (although i dont like how it feels its heavy haha) but it really does make a difference. God bless you always

How prophetic your message was - “let this be the year to focus on you, your own femininity” - what was there to gossip about when everyone had to stay home in most of 2020? You can’t escape dealing with yourself, who you really are, what you actually value and what you actually want in life when there’s no other person around for 18 months (in the US). Thank you for answering God’s calling to speak truth into other women’s lives - your content is a great encouragement to those of us who feel alienated and alone or perhaps confused on what’s worth pursuing or whether we have what it takes to ask for what we need as women / particularly feminine Christian women. You are a light in the darkness, I appreciate you, and God bless you

It's as if you were talking directly to me after asking for advice. This applies to me so much, especially the first point about letting go of resentment. Thank you so much for always being there, whenever I need to work on something you're right there to offer support and advice!

I think one of my biggest goals this year is to really flesh out my wardrobe. My style has really changed these past few years and it's kind of all over the place. Lol! I really want to narrow things down to mostly neutrals; like black, white and brown, and then add pops of Jewel toned colors(as I am a winter in color tone); pink, burgandy, emerald and blue.

“Give so much time on the improvement of yourself that you have no time to criticize others.” My 2020 goals are: -no more gossiping -less alcohol consumption -to be mindful of my thoughts and my words -block or unfollow negative people on social media (and anyone who disturbs my peace and makes me insecure) -stop comparing myself to other women -invest on myself, learn a new hobyy, attend workshops, etc -take care of my relationships, make my fam and friends feel how special they are -make an effort to always look and feel good Thank you so much, Caitlyn! I’m 23 and you inspire me to embrace my feminity and to be a woman of great character. All love from the Philippines. Happy 2020 💖❤️

Thank you so much... I start to take care of my body and appearance. I don't pay attention to self-care before I realize that it is also a part of loving myself. I follow your grooming tips religiously and try to wear more feminine clothes. It really brings some kind of peace I never feel before, how I see myself. This change makes me more comfortable and confident.

Ever since I was young I hated wearing skirts or dresses, mainly because I didn't want attention to myself. When men catcall on the street, they don't really care about what you're wearing. As a kid I didn't realize this, I just thought if I looked like an ugly boy, old ppl would leave me alone 🙃 I just feel like I pushed back certain things in my life. I'm just now catching up to learning how to do makeup. My 2020 goal is to be more assertive, not to be insecure wearing a dress, and to just get better at winged eyeliner lol

For 2020 my goals are -keep up the at home workouts to strengthen my core/pelvis (pre-pregnancy baby prep!) -to continue to make offerings to nature -to be more consistent with meal prepping my mans lunches -to pour love into my relationship with my parents and in laws -to keep my skin and hair in good condition -im starting a hiking group to spend more time in nature with like minded people. I wish everyone else all the luck in the world with your own goals. We've got this ladies 💪
