Smallville's Justice League - Caravan Of Garbage

People may be loving Zack Snyder's Justice League but little known fact but not really Smallville introduced a very early days live action version of the team in the Season 6 episode, Justice. Featuring a team up between Clark Kent, Cyborg, Aquaman, Impulse and Green Arrow it certainly is something and a series of events happen until they don't because the episode is over. Here's some Justice trivia for you. In the episode that introduced Aquaman, Arthur suggested he and Clark should start a Junior Lifeguard Association. Clark says he's not ready to be part of the JLA yet.

That idea about a "chill" speedster is really on point. It makes a lot of sense that someone so powerful would have a carefree outlook, not worrying about anything they encounter, and it leaves room for you to amp up the pressure if things get "serious" too.

To this day, I still look fondly back at Smallville. I've seen the entire series 3 times over now, and have embraced their story choices and design choices, which weren't great. I was 13 when this aired, so I was completely blind to the company details behind certain choices, like, why Impulse, "when's Batman?", "why didn't Martian Munhunter join them?" he first appeared 3 episodes ago, and "why Cyborg, why isn't he with the Titans?" Finding most of those answers years later proved that this show was a miracle with those restrictions.
