Oops, yes, you are quite right. Doh! So it should be one of the "green" terms. Fortunately I didnt need to use the coefficients of the x^2 or x term to get the answers, so the values of a and b should still be correct.

For number 6 when working out the number of minutes why do you use 3500000 instead of 35000

I was converting 3.5km into cm. 1km = 1000m, 1m = 100cm, so 3.5km = 350000cm

hi sir! Do you think the ocr maths papers are going to rise in difficulty in the future because i've heard they want the difficulty level to go back to normal after covid is over. because in these past papers im getting grade 8's and im scared if the exams are harder i might drop a few grades

I dont think the papers will get harder, but they did push up the grade boundaries in June 2023 significantly, and I dont think they are coming back down again.
