I agree with Mckennas comment that theese games will have yielded valuable lessons. We hoped rather than expected anything from the opening two. New players will take time to settle even Omari needed several games before he really started to shine. We have quality in depth the conundrum for Mckenna is how quickly the new players can integrate or how much more he can improve what we already had. I feel we need to go with the integration and accept that this will take time and resullts will probably continue to show that for a time as well. We must support the players staff and club come what may

Our losses against Liverpool and Manchester City were both very predictable so I look on them actually as a positive chance for extra time to get our team up to full strength which can’t be expected overnight so forget those 2 games they are in the past look on it like this our season starts at home against Fulham all will be tough games but maybe not as tough but now Ipswich can look to pick up points

McKenna and Ashton have identified that if we are to compete we need a step up in most positions and they’ve spent nearly £100m already. The team that’s played the last two games will be massively changed by even Christmas. Clearly he is going to introduce better players and create a new side. The brutal reality is that unless you’re good enough McKenna isn’t going to play you.

Hladky did about 60 apps for ITFC and Muric has done 90 mins against one of the best club sides in world football. Wasn’t a great debut for Aro but maybe he deserves a run of games before anyone makes a judgement on his long term ability?

We need to be honest about individual performances … no matter the player! Morsy and Luongo have been fantastic for us but if we are unable to hold our own in the midfield we will always be up against it! I thought Leif and Omari would be the only two players from last season who would be PL standard but now I think it is only Omari!
