berhinger you are crushing it lately, I seriously want all the synths you guys are remaking. The only thing that I would love to see change, is your logo and color. Especially the color. I don't care what anyone says. Behringer is the coolest synth developer out there today rivaled only by UDO. Their mission to collect and re-engineer ancient, museum-piece equipment and bring them into mass production again in hardware form is honorable.

@@DurararaX2 Nobody else is going to make replicas like these. Not everyone can get the real things and Behringer modernizes them to be capable of more than the originals. It's a great business for them and it makes the synth market far more accessible. That's a win for everyone.

I love Behringer. My first product of theirs was a 5 channel mixer. got two of them, then got an 12 channel. now got their x-touch controller and a Behringer X-AIR mixer, played with their Wing mixer and it is amazing also. Their only synth I owned was their Deepmind 12, still young in the synth world, I ended up selling it and while I don't regret it, I miss having it. Since then following the Behringer journey in what you'd call replicating copying other older synths, having that cost friendly alternative to bask in the experience that once was; is such a gift. I can't imagine how many hours of circuit analysis, engineering, and program processing it must take to re-create and even implement additional features to their products, must take, and I certainly don't see anyone else doing that. It's a hats off and dance in my opinion. The MS-5 looks and sounds fantastic!

Yes... I have a serviced SH5 in front of me and this sounds better than that, for practical purposes. The SH5 is quite hard to get to sit in a mix because the top end is so focused and raspy - I generally run mine through the filter section of a Moog. But this sounds great as is. The main thing about the SH5 is the functionality, esp the ability to 'isolate' a sub frequency using the band-pass and then mix that under the main midrange sound. Don't get me wrong, I love the SH5, but the deviations from accuracy here seem welcome.
