Hi Janison - here are a couple more suggestions: A smoothie, with prunes or dates for energy and nuts for protein, or "holy crap" cereal (holycrap.ca).

True PALEO eats one meal a day around dinner time...early man didnt do 6 meals a day.

@ThumperOne Without refrigerators, cars and food on every street corner many scientists will tell you that early man woke up and spent most of the day hunting and gathering and feasted before dark. This happened for millions of years. Human DNA hasn't changed in 50,000 years and it's this new style of eating in the last hundreds of years that we now have chronic diseases, cancers and diabetes. Our DNA hasn't caught up.

they eat very rare red meat full of protein in the early days so I believe that they only eat once a day or once every other day. Today we eat less protein and eat 3 to 5 times a day and a big percentage of that food are junks, no protein at all. Amino Acids rules!!!
