Marvel has been going full throttle with their content output in Phase 4. With show after show after show hitting Disney Plus in the past year, some people are saying that superhero fatigue may finally be setting in. So putting out a new series about a character people aren’t super familiar with, starring a newcomer actress was always going to be a challenge, no matter how well-reviewed the show was.
Ms Marvel does raise some questions though. Like does every single teenager boy have a crush on Kamala? Why is this Damage Control department so bad at their jobs? Does everybody just have elaborate exposition presentations ready to go? What’s up with the sudden time travel? How long did those kids have to rig up the entire school Home Alone style?
To answer all these questions and more, step inside the Pitch Meeting that led to Ms Marvel! It’ll be super easy, barely an inconvenience.

The entire Ms. Marvel show kind of feels like a Role Play game. Everyone you meet tells you exactly what you need to know (so you don't have to investigate or find answers on your own), people you meet give you your gear and everything you need (so you don't have to craft it yourself), and people you know tell you where you need to go (so you [again] don't need to figure things out by yourself). Basically Kamala just goes through her "adventure" and is told everything she needs to know, given everything she needs, and is taken everywhere she needs to be, by other people. And then to top it all off the main problems she faces is also solved (mostly) by other people (or through dumb luck) for her.

I think the only reason they changed her powers from Mr. Fantastic with a dash of shape-shifting to Green Lantern was literally just for the Marvels movie. Even though the powers weren't the most flattering for a teenage girl, that worked to make her feel more relatable, plus the shape-shifting is just a fun power set. Makes me wonder if Mr. Fantastic ever met Ms. Marvel, being a scientist, hed probably study her to figure out how their powers would differ.

The last scene of switching places with Captain Marvel, sounds a lot like, what Rick Jones (friend of Bruce Banner) used to do which was switch places with Captain Marvell the original male version in the comic books with the use of N bands (bracelets). they did the hole in the ground thing after they reached near a tunnel and after she learned to control her powers which was during the fight. They could have called this movie Deus Ex Machina. Because that is how every conflict is resolved. Also the plot for this show came almost entirely from a different comic book series about a Latin American super hero despite the fact that Ms. Marvel has her own comic book series. And in the actual comics, Kamala's only super power is making her body grow instead of having every single super power that the writer needs her to have to resolve a conflict that never should have been written as the writer wasn't willing to write it in a way that Kamala could solve with her own already existing body increasing super power. The Latin American super hero is the one who had all the crazy powers because her grandmother and thus mother came from another dimension. Kamala's family did not come from another dimension and were not superheroes.
