I just realized listening to recaps of all these movies that I kinda hated X-men a lot. And everything decently funny and entertaining happened in Apocalypse or maybe the first movie. I'm going to go ahead and drop Logan in the shit bucket (as it's a completely noncanon off-shoot graphic novel having nothing to do with X-men) along with the first two seasons of Picard with a plaque on it reading "What the fuck is wrong with Patrick Stewart?" Remember when he used to be awesome? Then he started playing old weak as fuck guy, the character. And apparently he's a Trump Derangement Syndrome sufferer so that apparently explains and excuses all the bad writing he contributed to. Honestly, when you get your wish of seeing the real life actor that was born to play Professor X actually play that character... turns out his career keeps going for a long time and you find out he's just a fucking liberal pussy cuckold. Now that Terry gave us Picard Season 3 (ie Star Trek: The End Forever), I think it's safe to let him die now whatever god or lack of god is keeping him alive way way too long.

@@Fenglang1Lol I never thought of that. What I meant was that the class probably depends on the degree of mutation. So a machine probably wouldn’t be able to turn people into mutants of that degree. Both sentiments have always been a part of Magneto’s character and are present in both the new and old movies, but the new movies focus more on the latter because he is more of a focus in those movies, so he has a lot more character development and they flesh out his ideology a lot more.

Fun fact for language enthusiasts: Even though a wolverine is not a canine but part of the Mustelidae family that also includes badgers, weasels and otters among others, the name wolverine derives from the word wolvering, which is a diminutive of wolver, which does indeed mean "savage animal or man who behaves like a wolf", ultimately stemming from the name wolf. Also, the way that Magneto catches the jet would have been far, Far, FAR more deadly to its occupants than if it had hit the ground and then glided/ tumbled to a halt. Stopping it abruptly like that would have caused everyone on the jet to end up as a smear of pinkish-red ooze on the inside walls of the jet.
@Matt_Alaric
@Matt_Alaric Жыл бұрын
No a head on crash into the ground would have been absolutely lethal for everyone involved, Magneto catching it would at worst have involved similar deceleration but without any of the blunt trauma, punctures, burning, gas, etc, that would have accompanied a nosedive into the earth.
