I came out to my mom 2 days ago. We were just talking and I asked for some reason, "Do you know any LGBTQ+ celebrities?" She said she did and she looked up a list of LGBT celebrities and we just talked about it. Eventually she asked me about the bi pride flag I bought (she won't let me put it up because my younger sister wouldn't understand) and asked why I bought it. I told her that it was because I was bi and she was super cool about it. She even said she had a suspicion about it and I was relieved that she was okay with it. (She was in the room as I typed this.) You helped me to realized my sexuality and I'm glad that you helped me. Thank you so much and I hope you keep creating awesome videos!

After I watched this I felt really confident and came up with a plan... So thanks.❤️ I left my parents letters on their bed, and some notes to remind them not to miss it. Because my mom still goes to work I left a note outside for her along with some sprinkles ( idk why). Then I set up a scavenger hunt for my sisters and afterwards told them too. Since I can't see my Grandma I sent her a video instead. So far my dad thinks I'm crazy for putting sprinkles outside, (he hasn't read the letter) my mom still isn't home, my sisters don't care and my Grandma didn't respond. Wish me luck!❤️

Dutchy, this is when I really need help. So my mom tried to read my texts but I wouldn’t let her. Eventually I had to tell her why, and I don’t know why I lied, but I said I was pretending to be bi to fit in. Then she asked why and if I really did and stuff (She’s Christian) and I said no, because I didn’t know how to tell her. Then she said she’d love me even if I was gay, but I still didn’t say anything. It’s the next day. Works especially well if you have younger siblings: ask them to suggest a game of hide and seek to your family (make sure you're a hider and your target is the seeker) while the seeker in counting, grab your Pride flag (if you have one), run and hide in a closet and when the seeker approaches jump out and shout "I'm (insert sexual/gender identity here)" or just wait for them to find you in the closet and wave the flag in their face.
