At 5.25 what the point of including an unallocated disk as part of the backup instead of choosing it as a destination only?

The first one in the list is for system reserved partition. It is not unallocated disk space.

Great video and i enjoy your accent :) Question, how does this affect a secondary domain controller? Would you want to configure Bare Metal Recovery on a secondary DC as well? It would be great if you went into the pros and cons of storing the backup on a SMB share rather than on the local server. If the local server gets compromised the local disk attached to it that has our backup is in danger as well. Thanks for your videos, they have helped me a lot over the years.

Its up to you whether you want to setup a backup on your ADC's. There wont be any impact of doing backup on primary DC. It is more safe and recommended to store the backup on a separate HDD/SSD or on a SMB share folder. I will never suggest storing the backup on a local HDD.
