This a great list and fun songs with over the top, expensive productions but imo, you can’t beat the early SNL skits. Gilda Radner had a one woman comedy/ musical show on Broadway in 1979 and brought some of those characters to SNL. Candy Slice the drunk rocker, Rhonda Weiss in Jewess Jeans and Goodbye Saccharine, etc. Also skits with The Sweeney Sisters (Jan Hooks & Nora Dunne), Steve Martin’s King Tut, John Belushi’s Beethoven, etc

I really enjoyed this list! It was cut for time (a lot of the best skits are, that could be a list in and of itself), but "I'm Sorry" (The Title of the Video on KZbin is Rap Diss) featuring Keegan Michael Key is incredibly funny and feels a lost Key and Peele sketch with Michael Redd replacing Jordan Peele. Check it out if you've never seen it! Would've had "Slow" much higher, its phenomenal. Also would've included "Its Pride Again" featuring Lil Nas X, Leslie Jones's hilarious "UES". (I stay home with my cat...) and "Rap Song" featuring The Rock and basically the entire cast at the time. I know that the Lonely Island was well represented, but "Space Olympics" is another stand out fave of mine due to its insane creativity! Keep up the great work! :)

Basically it's a parody of groups like Sugar Hill Gang or Grandmaster Flash and the Furious 5 talking shit about modern rap and Pete Davidson plays a knockoff Takashi 6x9 or however you spell it.
