@@emilykatheryn2625 We do not share a common "humanity". What hypocrisy is there left to put on full display? Name a single claim of Western Hegemony that has survived the test of time. Claims regarding being Civilized, having Laws of War; some strange fetishism for "democracy", "progress", "Womxn", etc. - the sham that are Human Rights, the laughable notion of "international humanitarian law", multilateral statutes and conventions - everything was a lie. They fed us ideals about an International Criminal Court and an International Court of Justice only to abrogate or undermine such institutions. It will always be "Rules for Thee, Not for Me". Western Hegemony makes it necessary for the accelerated dismantling and disintegration of the aforementioned institutions and ideas setup over the last century. But you know what's truly remarkable? The lie that is a "free press", as if networks like MSNBC isn't also engaging in genocidal propaganda. No, we do not share a common Humanity - I see through you. Please stick to your Auschwitz memorial service or whatever pageantry that suits your real sympathies. Don't bother replying, I don't care.

I'm disheartened by how this narrative of all MSM not covering this honestly, whithin the limitations of the medium, is still spun. There have been many voices all over the established mediascape calling what is happening for what it is, right from the start. This narrative made all those single-issue internet warriors stay at home or vote 3rd party, and gave us Trump 2.0 - who has been selling out the Palestinian people and cause to his buddy Netanyahu since 2016!

Not really: their religion is worship of a minor Canaanite deity (a tribal war and storm god and the consort of Asherah) which is the apotheosis of Rage and Wrath instincts which actually advocates G'cide along with xenophobia. Thus the Hebrew Gnostics who wrote the Gospels (dozens of them as at Nag Hammadi) denounced Y as The Fool who thought he was the Supreme. The 'Son-of-God' (a pre-Christian Mystery cult metaphor for Divine Illumination or Gnosis) was to lead them beyond Y to the Higher Light - the Divine Light of the universalist philosophies and religions - which leads beyond ego and tribe to Empathy and Love Thy Neighbour.

How is that genocide? Throwing around terms like genocide in apartheid when, in this case, it does not fit at all really diminishes, true genocides, and what happen in South Africa. If it was true, apartheid, explain the 2 million Israeli Arab, Muslim citizens? Explain that they serve in the military and in their parliament? If it’s true genocide, then if you look at the numbers in a war usually 10 civilians are killed for everyone soldier in urban combat. The Palestinian authority says 40,000 people have been killed but at least half of those have to be combatants especially when the civilians come out and attack soldiers because they’ve taken all three uniforms. Lots of nicely pressed clean uniforms and those images when they’re releasing hostages. so again tragic and this is horrible but that’s a one to one civilian to combat loss and even if it was 2 to 1 it’s still summer though best numbers if you can call dad in any war that is ever happened including wars the United States started. Again shame on everybody who is diminishing the true genocides of happen in history whether that be the holocaust, Bosnia, Rwanda and Burundi, and even in the United States with indigenous communities.

Anyone who reads about the Jewish ghettos created by the Germans and their allies in 40s will see a great parallel with the plight of gazans. Those Jews were put behind tall bricked walls and barbed wire, not permitted to leave the ghetto, nothing permitted to enter either. Thousands died from diseases and malnutrition. Those ghettos lasted for 8 years at most not 75 years like gaza. You should wonder what would have happened to those Jews if they were kept in the ghettos for 75 years. Would they make their own arms, would they resist, would they fight their oppressor? I believe they would, like the Palestinians are doing and have done. When you remove that much dignity from a people you change them and make them different from you. They want what everyone else enjoys. Not to be in a concentration camp while free people, hundreds of meters away, go to a rave!

Copernicus' heliocentrism was actually inspired by his mystical belief in the Divine Light - the Inner Sun at the Centre of our own being - being mirrored in the heavens [although Aristiarchus, Aryabhatta (whose work Europeans had translated centuries before Copernicus) and others put forward heliocentric models before Copernicus]. In fact, the Hebrew Gnostics who worte the Gospels (dozens of them as at Nag Hammadi) denounced the tribal war god Yahweh (the apotheosis of Rage and Wrath instincts which advocates xenophobia and G'cide) as The Fool who thought he was the Supreme or as the Platonic demiurge who brings Evil and Sorrow. The 'Son-of-God (a pre-Christian metaphor for Divine Illumination or Gnosis) was to lead the Hebrews to a Higher Light - the Divine Light or true Godhead of universalist philosophies and religions (originally in the Vedas) which leads beyond ego and tribe to Empathy and Love Thy Neighbour.

@@GeorgeMirra-w4g Frances Yates showed that Domenico Berti had revived the myth of Giordiano Bruno being killed by the Church for his scientific belief in heliocentrism etc. In fact Bruno was a mystical astrologer and numerologist [not astronomer and mathematician] who concocted magical mandalas to transform people into religious personalities. In fact as I stated above, Heliocentrism was known since Aristiarchus or before and Europeans had translated Indian heliocentric models centuries before Copernicus' so-called Revolution. Charles Seife shows in his 'Zero' that Nicolas de Cusa and Bruno were inspired by the new mathematics and astronomy from India [modern Arithmetic, Algebra, Trigonometry and even Calculus] which laid the true foundations of Renaissance Science. Indians had known that the universe was infinite and contained many worlds - and was billions of years old whereas Greeks and Christians though the cosmos extended only to Saturn and was a few thousand years old!

@@Naveen-tx8be I appreciate that brother and yes that’s terrible but what else happened at that time? that’s not genocide. It’s tragic. Because my grandfather had polio. Was it genocide when the USA firebombed Tokyo in ww2? No it was war against a fanatical enemy who didn’t even surrender after 1 nuke; it took 2. . Why didn’t Hamas let civilians into the tunnels to protect them? How come Hamas didn’t build a great nation in 2005 instead of ripping up pipes for missies. Those Hamas uniforms were pretty darn clean and pressed - hmmm. It’s easy. Hamas changes their charter to say they will live in peace and prosper just like Germans and Japanese after ww2. Again when will us humans learn? But can’t learn when religion or political dogma dominates a culture or their leadership.

There is no justification, there NEVER CAN BE, but there is causation, there is a root from which such evil springs forth, and that is learned, ingrained and must be recognized. Israel has as much responsibility for what occurred on that terrible day as Hamas does. But Israel remains willfully blind to it's own long, decades long contribution to it.

So what would you ask the 2 million Arab Muslims who are Israeli citizens? Maybe why they choose to live in Israel and participate in parliament and the society? Why don’t they all leave Israel? How come they haven’t been forced out? Why hasn’t the people in Gaza in the West Bank sued for peace like the Japanese and Germans after World War II considering that they’ve lost war after war after war after war? Now you might say that they’re being oppressed and subjugated, but they’ve been given autonomy and even appeared of time or Egypt was in charge of Gaza and yet. they didn’t even give them their autonomy or their dependence state? Why is it that Europe takes in millions of Ukrainian and Syrian refugees when Egypt Saudi Arabia the other countries don’t take in any of the innocent people in Gaza? Why is it that Hamas did not allow their civilians into the tunnels to protect them from the bombs of Israel?

One of my favorite hosts. He tackles topics and for instance this guest is something I find interesting in how he deals with this war. I know this is tough- the difference between politics and this topic is this is something that cuts to the heart. The way to peace is a change in the people and our conscious awareness. This is important I would say religion is where belief, traditions/customs, rituals and heritage are given more emphasis. It suits the person so it's unique in experience. Between religions the way to interconnectiveness is tolerance. As you know, these things change and evolve to the point we may be less in need of religion. My personal experience is I strive more toward genuine independence in thought and in regards to religion I gravitate toward those practices that focus on that. So that, it's more relevant to me and this current time. I internally avoid religion in my meditation- those time it gets in the way because religion is not going to help with deep self-actualization. Knowing religion in regards to interaction with different cultures is important for me. How do I put someone's religion over my religion so I can truly understand that individual who lets say lives in the Middle East, or Europe, Africa ect all of which I have been throughout my life. Wow, religion has to be overlooked to get to know the person but the religion a person has is very important to understand as a background of their belief systems. Rapport! In the anonymous social media space we meet through words but when it comes to real physical interaction that would be the true human experience - people are there in front of me, you also in that backdrop hears the language, the ground where they live, the structures and buildings and unique architecture, the clothes, the look in their face, all those are much more rich in experience than the rituals but you need to be able to shake hands and find that common ground- it's really a time where interconnectiveness and I see the young people have more of this. I appreciate my elders like Trump but I wish he would act more mature because I know he has been like me seen people of all walks- mature like you! In America, unlike globally, I am careful of what I talk about to others about religion or beliefs that have nothing to do with religion or God or no God. All those are important that (religion) gets in the way and when you get to know the person then it shouldn't be in my case very important. I'm very anti-religion because of my upbringing but very fascinated by it especially the ancient beliefs

Maybe it’s religion that’s a problem. When I need to look at which countries are the most religious and those who are more secular and the secular countries are usually the most prosperous and have the most equity and equality. It’s amazing that people want to base their society on one or two books they were written hundreds of years ago by men who are farmers or goat huggers in a very small geographical area. Where is now we have millions of books on science And an entire universe rather than a couple square hundreds of miles.

Sadly, religion all too often leads to a narcissistic belief in the superiority of the religious persons' views over other's worldviews. Even sadder is the reality that all too often, these delusions lead to violence. Most sad is the fact that at the end of the day, religion is just an opinion. Dying or killing over opinions is sick.
