Crazy thing is BF1 is actually so good and feels quite authentic overall - it's not that woke. BFV though, they took it way further into wokeness and unfortunately that was the beginning of the downfall of Battlefield. Worst WW2 game made for a long time. There actually were a handful of women who fought in WWII. Literally a handful. Throughout all the countries in all of the world. I’m pretty sure none of them were British. Many of the women they highlight as serving in combat positions during the war, like pilots, never actually saw combat they became trainers or did military exercises state side. There was a Russian Sniper, she would actually be a decent subject of a video game. She had to be a pretty badass shooter to make it into the Red Army as a woman in 1942. She’s credited with 309 kills, more than any American soldier has been credited with in the last 50 years. Lyudmila Mikhailovna Pavlichenko. But yeah, it’s a ridiculous notion they had any impact on the front lines in any significant way. We’re talking about maybe a dozen women out of millions of fighters.
