Season 10 (1999) was also the last year of Wade Wilson's NFL career (QB for the Vikings when I followed him, for the Raiders when Season 10 was released). That's who I assumed he meant, but you never know. The bots were both comic book fans.

MST3K raised roughly $7,000,000 in one month for the new season, which was so far over their goal that they ordered 2 additional episodes bringing the total to 14 instead of the full 12-episode season. Other MST3K projects were also overfunded. The days of dealing with Jim Mallon and the network executives are over!
