No better escape than MST3K. Even if I disagree a lot with someone's politics, if they're a MST3K fan, I got to respect it. MST3K is the best show ever.

My problem is I have used MST3K to sleep for about 6 months. Now I nod off whenever I want to casually watch the show! Better grab a cup of coffee for this one. It's a fave.
@FUBARguy107Ай бұрын
Same! I made the mistake of making it a "comfort" show. MST3K and Futurama are now almost sleep enforcement officers.
@Keith_RothwellАй бұрын
@FUBARguy107 Futurama is another of mine too! I am also a fan of Carl Sagan's Cosmos. All great shows to sleep to!

Same. MST3K and Rifftrax are a regular part of my pre-bedtime viewing.

Some eps, like Hamlet or a Gamera, sleep, other eps, like this or Teenage Crimewave, no. Imo.

I grew up in the '90s MST3K has always been there for me. It has been a way to escape from mental stress. I also like Midnight Burger for that same reason.

This is one of those episodes that gets better and better with repeat viewings, even if the first viewing is tough. The dark content is not easy to riff, but Mike and the bots really shine here. Some of the riffs make me laugh SO much. - "I got to get a new CARTON for tomorrow!"

10:15 😂😂😂 this is like we old folks, who walk into the kitchen to cook, but the dish towel is dirty, so we walk it to the laundry machine, yet there's clothes in the dryer to fold, but the mirror's dirty over the dresser, by the bed and now we're tired... And hungry... so we get up from the bed, go to the kitchen...

This movie becomes even more unintentionally hilarious when you learn that Ed Wood later directed a bunch of low rent porno movies in the last days of his career along with writing a bunch of smut books.
@sumelarАй бұрын
Not really hilarious if you know literally anything at all about ed wood and how much he hated having to do them just so he wouldn't starve to death.

I watch this one once a decade. Space it out enough that I forget all the riffs. Except Crow making the car crash sounds when the siren is blaring offscreen. I remember that one across the oceans of time. And I still guffaw. Literally guffaw. LG, as the kids would say.
