@MrHmg554 жыл бұрын
In one of the "Alice and Jerry" readers used in elementary schools in the '50s and '60s, a chapter about a spelling bee contained the advice, "Remember, there's 'a rat' in 'separate.'" That, at least, reminded you how to spell "separate" correctly. Using "a pear" as a guide would lead you to misspell "appearance" with only one "p."

The sexual innuendo of Servo's comment at 0:25 goes along great with the "Use plenty of Lip & Tongue Action" comment from "MST3K - Using Your Voice" (short).

@shuttittuppitt93553 жыл бұрын
Also, from (approximately) 7:05 to 8:05 just gets WEIRD! Did the makers of this PSA REALLY think that ANYBODY wanted to see THAT?! & for at least a whole minute too! It was good for one of the better jokes though. "Yeah. That's it, baby. Shake that MONEY MAKER!"

I love the riff Servo made after the narrator's comment about the human ear at 0:21 [Narrator:] "The Ear is the human organ, the public speaker is most likely to try to impress, as he makes a speech." [Tom Servo:] "After The Human Nipple!" - 0:26 (I have to admit, I got "cracked up" a few time as I was typing this, it's the kind Riff that makes you laugh the more you think about it.)
