I'm lucky to have gotten the DVD while it was in print. Apparently it's because the director of The Final Sacrifice wasn't happy with the movie being mocked, as it was something he made while as a college student and felt a little insulted by it. He apparently wants too much money for the episode to go back into circulation, but luckily KZbin and other sites have fans covered.

So in the original he's imprisoned in a satellite and forced to watch bad movies as an experiment so they can monitor his mind and see what happens. Not exactly realistic but it made sense as a premise. But now she's chasing him across the universe and sending them cheesy movies. Just because she's a sadist I guess. I don't know. And she wants to rule the world but she spends all her time chasing these robots and a guy through space with a van full of bad movies. Why'd they change it? It was fine before. You can change the cast without changing the premise.
