I love how available MST is these days! Man, and to think that once upon a time, I lived in MN as a 12 year year old my dad introduced me to a local show called Mystery Science Theater 3000. We had to flip the UHF dial and find it. I remember when they finally got into the TV guide. From 1988 to 2024! Forever a fan!!

it's weird. It started off REALLY slow. Like a season one episode. (no insult. love them too) I was chuckling but it didnt feel right. But then as the premise of the actual movie got more ridiculous the comedy did too and I was dying by the time Servo was belting out a ballad of SOMEDAY

After watching old video shot by drivers in the Bronx, and then this film, the Bronx had huge swathes of land where the buildings really were just demolished and the lots left devoid of anything at all, much less anything meaningful. I'm betting it was cheap and easy to shoot in these areas and it fit with the pist-apocalyptic theme.

Because I love this show. Lemme tell ya. It's a series that ran on a few channels in the 90s, Comedy Central and the Sci Fi Channel. It is really goofy movies, pretty bad, with characters that watch the movies and make clever quips about what's happening on screen. It's really very funny! That's a quick over view.. oh, there are pauses in the movie where the characters watching takea break and do stupid skits. Hope you like it!
