I used to have the Johnny's psychosis skit memorized a long time ago. (Yes, I was very popular with the ladies back then). This might be my second favorite episode after Manos. Just barely edging out Eegah.

I quite like it; it's easily one of the episodes that made me "get" MST3K as a postdated watcher. (Hey, I was four in 1994, MST3K would have gone over my head.)

@XanthinZarda I was 20 years old in 1994 and lots of MST3K went over my head back then. They do make a lot of references that you'd probably only get if you grew up in the 70s

I really love this episode…maybe the most underrated of the whole series. Besides the actor playing Jimmy doing a genuinely decent job of acting, there are some classic riffs…especially love the first “home” scene with Jimmy, sis/not sis, mom and dad, and the host segment with Gypsy syncing Kitty….great stuff!

Crow's line at the end of the trial- "Oh, let's go to Jack Taylor's and celebrate!!!" still makes me laugh even when I just think about it. The idea that Jimmy's whole ordeal had no effect on his parents, is the perfect joke in that moment.

Seattle KRAKEN fan? Last week I pulled a 'Young Guns' card, for their new mascot. Have you gotten Into card collecting? Great way to get familiar with the new players, Team and the rest of the league. Not cheap though!! That's why I prefer the OPC and MVP sets. Way cheaper but still fun. Cheers from Montreal Quebec Canada

Lettuce TRIVIA 😂😂 For a very short number of years (1880s?), the valley of Beaver Creek (major ski area now), Colorado, became a boomtown for lettuce growing and shipping on the new railroads. Why? Because they could pack it in the ice or snow that was found farther upvalley, south of the ski area today. Knowing this reminds me of Raymond Massey and James Dean in "East of Eden" ❤❤❤ Short duration, because it didn't take too much longer to invent "Refrigerated railroad cars"

Why do you have "refrigerated railroad cars" in quotes? Are you quoting someone who said that phrase?

I was surprised that Mike didn't play the stripper 'Rodney'. Instead Bradley J. Keely is credited, as Bradley. A Man that is way more of a 'MindFreak' than Chris Angel ever was! This Man was co editor and the Aforementioned Angel Freak !!! Maybe hardcore fans can tell us, if this is Bradley's only on-screen appearance? Mike was the Head Writer so after performing those duties, hecmaybe went on Vaccation, or got married. Or sat in a chair and watched the filming the episode, being filmed!

Sorry to hear that. This is a AMasterclass, in the art of the Riff. I haven't seen it for years and the ridiculous but intriguing title, had me avoiding it. Thanks for putting it up there. Honestly, I was not a big fan, with the 'Rhino VHS presentation' turned me away. The cover jokes were hit and miss and if there was only one or two jokes....You can see an issue. Take care

1:28:00 I've never heard of that before, or since. Does anyone know any details? Was this a propaganda film? The message to Parents, looking after their Children better? It DOESN'T seem like a war time message. In the classes I've taken, in regards to propaganda, these were not the kind of message to give the boy's who had entered the war. I'm not sure what year the film was made, or why they would send it somewhere, during an ongoing war. The parents were not bringing their kids in to a war zone and the young teens were not asking Mom and Dad's permission, to go and die in Europe. The visual alone is ridiculous. Maybe The Producers got a tax break if they donated a movie that was just sitting on a shelf? Considering the 'shorts' This is not a long movie, or there is a bunch of footage, that was cut out. Like I said. I'm just looking for a rabbitt hole to jump into and then 'go ask Alice's who her best dealer is! This will sound late, (because) it is but this is a pretty good movie and a fantastic Riff. Include the short bumpers and it's easily a top 10 of the Joel era. Cheers to all, unless you are trying to Quit. Good luck and use a variation on what helped me quit smoking 12 years ago. A B C was my tenet. It stood for Anything But Cigarettes, (Or a more damaging substance.) Any food, skies the limit. I always carried tooth picks. I vaped at the start. ABC but I got away after 2 years and held the toothpick, like a cig. For drinking it's harder but ABA. Stay away frombars and do anything else you want. If you smoke, don't ever try 2 at ounce. That goes with any substance. Hence, the Anything but, way of looking at it In my opinion. It's the same as training dogs. Always one cat a time. Guess How I learned that? Take care and if anything goes wrong,, BLAME YOUR PARENTS, A LOT!!! I should know. I'm a Human male.
