14.2v-14.6v is what is needed to fully charge LiFePo4 cells. You'll never get them fully charged pushing 13.6v

Lithium battery doesn’t use equalize option. Should be set at zero for eq time.

I realize that. The intent of the video was to show programming hierarchy for those having difficulty with the basics.

There's no eq.time setting, just a eq.charge setting. Do you have any advice?
@abbyrhodes8143 жыл бұрын
@@pcspoor Info that came with my Zooms 12v LifePO4 battery has the following listed: Eq charging voltage 14v and eq time as 120 minutes. I just changed all the parameters on my 3210A and MT50 to match what was in the booklet that came with my batteries. Only problem is you have to work backwards when entering values in the MT50 because otherwise you get error messages.

I have a SOK lifepo4 100ah battery and a epever 30 controller. should I set the same parameters as your showing here, neither epever or SOK offer any help. THANKS

You are exactly right about helping. You think that these manufacturers would have technical support!!

this helped me quite a bit. you mentioned the UG (generator) is set to 13.5. How do you set that?
@dwinterburn13015 жыл бұрын
On my particular van there is a Balmar MC-614 regulator that can be programmed. On other vans the regulator can be built in to the underhood generator and is preset. Balmar website has information on the programmable regulator.

I'm using deep cycle flooded 12v batteries. I haven't hooked up the controller yet but the manual has default settings for my application? It's kinda confusing

If you have lithium batteries, why not just set the battery type on lithium, and let it go at that? Then, all the parameters are automatically determined.

Where do we find out what boost, float & equalize charging mean when programming for lithium? Anyone know?

how do you get it to show a load when you run something, like the microwave? On my class a rv I could always see how many amps I was using.
@hedgemcnorry94593 жыл бұрын
I doubt it as to monitor load you'd have to be using the load terminals on the controller and for something large like a microwave you'd have to be running it directly from the battery bank. An inline power meter before your inverter will do what you're wanting.
