Gene, I'm a police officer in my small town and today after work I went to a local fishing pond. While I was there I ran into an eleven year old kid and his little brother. I walked up and on my second cast I caught a small bass. Needless to say the youngest kid was pretty impressed lol. He asked me if I was a "pro" and if I had any sponsors. I laughed and told him no. He then tells me his brother is going to be a pro and watches your channel everyday. I asked the eleven year old if he's learning anything? He told me he's learned so much from you, and couldn't wait to get to the pond and try out the fall fishing tips you talked about. Anyways just wanted to say thank you for being a positive role model and inspiring youth in my community to be good kids. Keep up the great videos and just know you're touching lives everywhere. the punching and frogging is getting there... love it man, hope you tag another 10 +. btw last week the punch fish had craws in them. had 7 fish between 3.5 and 5.5. many had antennas sticking out. pulled some out and looked to be green pumpkin with red claws. switched to missile baits destroyer in California love and nailed them.

Yes I have and to say that I'm impressed with each of them is an understatement. The GT feels like a 200 dollar reel and I'm not the only one who thinks so. Most fishermen who I ask to give it a try say the same thing.

I was given a abu Garcia silver max 6.4:1 gear ratio on a heavy rod. What can I throw on that?

try throwing a frog, but in thick cover, use 50-60 pound braid, or u can throw some big (1/2 oz- 1 oz) jigs, 50 pound braid main line and about 20-25 foot 15 pound flouro leader

Bryce Lewis if your fishing jigs, better to have a long leader for deep water so bass dont see the braid, and using only flouro is less versitile so i say so, i do and it works
