Never seen Gisburn so quiet! I recognised all the trails you were one - especially the drop off and steep berms of Hully Gully! It's a great place to ride but can get reet busy on a weekend when us mere mortals can go 🤣😉

Dogs don’t sweat to reduce heat so Blue will just slow down or even stop. He’s actually better in winter as his coat is quite thick. I just take it easy with lots of breaks for him.

its one of the best mountain bike sites in north west england lancashire in an area of outstanding natural beauty if you like walking then you can walk around stocks reservoir if your up to a 10 mile walk and it will blow your mind

@bushmanandblue In the process of researching E-Bikes MTB's, I think I've found one, Haibike Alltrack 6. Already hurt my sit bones on my conventional MTB but feeling motivated to "Get out there and enjoy it" The E-bike will help this old body do a bit more.

I agree with you. E-bikes although take away a bit from the fitness side actually just allow more people to get out and enjoy a decent ride. You still have to work but often you can go further. Definitely get out mate and do what you can👍👍👍

Hi there, slightly unrelated to this vid, but just wanted to ask, what tent pegs do you use?.. i'm absolutely blown away at some of the conditions you and blue find yourselves in, (especially in those winter storms) and your tent pegs are seemingly solid.. cheers! 😊

I think a lot of it is common sense fining the best place to insert the pegs. I just use the factory ones from fjallraven but in high winds I’ll carry (usually 4) delta pegs. They are chunky but have never failed me👍

😂 he’s not trying to keep up I use the command ‘behind’ so it’s safer for us both. Do you think a dog like Blue would prefer to be sat at home? Does any dog? What is ‘unfair’ is that half of the dogs in the UK do not get near enough exercise and over an 8th get none! I just hope some people start being better dog owners.
