I'll need a name for this climb trail. If you want to through some ideas out. That would be awesome. I do a poll in the future. I'll be doing one for the other down hill trail as well.

Used a mini excavator to build a retaining wall years ago... The time spent playing video games as a kid finally paid off :)

That's what I feel like I'm doing every time I'm on one. I feel like playing a video game. Just a lot more bumpy

Great work! I a possible trail name comes to mind: “Second Climbs a Charm” because it has less switchbacks and likely people have climbed once, come done Killzone then are climbing this 🤷🏻♂️ but also because it’s the second climb trail you’ve made.

Catchy, I like that.

Hey, some excavators have a switch valve inside the panel under the seat, or by the entry side to reverse the control functions. You might be in luck!
@mtbingadventures15513 ай бұрын
I was hoping for a way to switch the controls. I don't see anything located anywhere on the machine. I'll double check when I get back to Everstoke.

Hopefully there will still be some trail building left to do by the time I get my van built and can make the 40 hrs/2700+ mile drive across the country to ride/build there. Amusingly (to me, at least) Everstoke is basically due-west of Philadelphia.

I'll be sure to leave a bit of trail building for when you arrive. 😆

I'm sure you'll be ripping through terrain on that thing in no time. Hope it allows some easier debris removal and interesting new features.

Thanks, it is definitely making life easier getting through all that brush.

I think those Chinese excavators require swapping hoses on the control valves to switch to SAE (John Deere) style controls - newer ones might have the switch cleverly hidden in a place you'd least expect to look, though! If you can get your brain wrapped around operating both styles, you're a better operator than most! 😉

I look one more time. I'm getting pretty good at this little ex and almost used to the controls. At times a do something really weird and go back to my old habits. I'm trying to be really smooth. I don't want to mess up his tractor.

look around on the machine alot of newer ones have a valve that you can switch the controls

I'll look again. I'm pretty sure this one doesn't have that ability. 🤔

What part of Northern California are you at?

Enter "Everstoke" into Google maps.

About one hour north of Truckers CA and about one hour west from Reno

Hi Aaron - I love the videos on the build but there is a little too much of the camera pointing at the ground and the bush and not enough of the building. Hope this is seen as a constructive comment ;)
@mtbingadventures15513 ай бұрын
It is a great constructive comment. I will try to do reduce the amount of ground watching and getting some more of that good old action trail building. Thank you

It was nice to finally ride the trails last Saturday. Bummer I had a crash. My fave are kill zone and everflow. There was another one that had the wooden features that I liked.

My friend found a glove on the tree fort trail on that wood drop. I think it was yours. Bummer, you crashed. There is still a lot to ride.
