I have been able to replace those cable attachment parts if you save a used one. Need to cut a slit on the inside to get it onto the cable.

Good evening. Cheers from Toronto. I was watching your video from a couple years back on "Can We Save It??" on a Craftsman Single Stage Blower, and at the end you suggested you were going to change the cable and do a video on it. I looked, but did not see a follow up video. I recently came into exactly the same Craftsman blower, and am fixing it to give away to a friend, but the cable is shot, but I can't seem to find that particular part for the Craftsman. This blower seems to be very very close in design, the only difference I'm seeing is the direction that the cable comes in, in this case being horizontal then around a pulley, versus the Craftsman being vertical directly to the swing arm. Would you have any sense if this part would fit on the Craftsman? Ideally I'd like to find a substitute part, versus having to McGuyver something. Thanks Vern.

Do you have the model number of the blower or part number for the cable?

Those paddles look very worn.

I realize that. This is not a video about the paddles. Thanks for watching.
