It's so fun to play this deck. Especially with nothing on board except of 2 Valakuts in the late game, the opponent is going to win and than there is an top decked Ancient Greenwarden, the Valakuts draw you an Azusa, Fabled-Passage-Time starts and suddenly the opponent went from 20 live to nothing... all the cards you like to play and don't know how - THANK YOU for the Inspiration with this great deck :-)

Finally somebody made a valakut deck! I noticed you kept running into: valakut dumping useful cards in the yard. You might consider adding black for creature recursion so the yard becomes a resource. Phil is winmore card. All you need is greenwarden, valakut, cobra and nissa

I've been running this with the enchantment that triples damage. It doesn't win much, but it's great one-shotting the opponent on a nice ramp turn!

I am trying Fiery Emancipation as well.. some mentioned Lithoform which is cheapier (4 mana) but it just double and you have to pay 2 to double

Eternal lesson relearned from Match 4: Your odds of winning against any deck running green drops down by a couple of percentage points based on whether or not you have an answer to their turn1 or 2 mana dorks. Especially that damn snake.

Do you think Lotus Cobra will get banned? It ramps like crazy, literally solves all colored mana problems and it's only a goddamn 2-drop. I mean, Omnath for example is a problem, but only really because Cobra makes him so easy to cast by turn 3. I mean really, what were they thinking?

Reprinting cobra was a tremendous mistake. Why do they think easily cheating on Mana is a good thing? At least half of the bans are failed attempts at making free Mana not busted.

This is almost EXACTLY the same deck I have been playing since zendikar release. But I’m having a lot of trouble with fast decks that don’t allow me to ramp. Also not drawing valakut is very bad. I tried adding 2 copies of escape to the wilds to help with that, but feels slow:( pls lvd tell me what am I doing wrong :(

I added cheap removal for the aggro matchups like Cinderclasm and Purphoros Intervention .. and more Dryads to use as blocker instead of Azusa.. scute swarm in lieu of Phil to start building board presence earlier

@@rodpaschoal i removed phil as well, he just didnt fit. I had scute swarm but i removed it after i lost so many won games due to the fact that the game breaks when i try to combo off and draw the entire deck (producing thousands of insect copies)

@11:00 shouldn't double green warden trigger landfall 4x instead of 3x? Is this a bug?

According to the text on greenwarden, it doesn't double the number of triggers. Rather, it makes them trigger an additional time. So every greenwarden adds one additional trigger to the stack rather than an exponential increase like with multiple anointed processions.

I found that Greenwarden has more sinergy with the other landfall cards... And you can use It as soon as you cast before it gets killed

Are you enjoying the deck ? I like It.. the winrate is like 50% for me but It is improving after added Scute Swarm (instead of Phil) and I am going to try Fiery Emancipation (instead of Ashaya)

I think a Light up the Stage effect needs to be available for red somewhere in every standard rotation. I don't think Exploration, good as it is, quite cuts it for mono red.
