In my opinion it is the player going to lose to GG if he wants to, I find very disrespectful when the one who is going to win sends the GGs, It seems like he's only making fun of you. So when someone GGs and then loses, I'm extremely satisfied

@@matteograssi93 That's your way to interpret it and may be wrong: I personally send GGs before winning to let my opponents know that I appreciate either the fight they've put on either their deck idea and by no means I intend to be disrespectful. I also never send GGs on too easy wins... I don't know if there are any recommendations for properly using GGs without making the opponents feel offended.

I was referring above all to those easy wins (let's say a t2 Ugin with Tibalt's trickery) follower by GGs... those are the situations where I find them disrespectful

It's almost like WotC designed the Party mechanic knowing that the set immediately afterward would introduce a number of Shapeshifter cards with Changeling (and Maskwood Nexus)... I remember last year a similar thing happened with Linden during Eldraine. She didn't really impress most people. Then Theros: Beyond Death happened, Heliod dropped, and suddenly Linden was a crazy powerhouse card in Mono-White. The one was designed with the other in mind.

When I learnt about the Party mechanics in the new set I was even less excited about them than the Mutate ones because they are so situational but you made them looking so powerful, even more powerful than your previous Party synergies... I often binge watch MTG content once a day or once every two days and I keep your content for the last because that's what I'll remember from the watch. Thank you very much !

@@Bebopvicious00 yeah, I played Giants génesis ultimátum. There is a giant that gives haste and +1/0 to every creature. Also, with cultivate you can cast many Giants in a single turn, which is usually not easy with the izzet build.

For updating this for the post rotation standard I have found swapping overwhelmed apprentice for Lunarch Veteran is really nice. The life gain can really add up especially when you play out the squad commander. Also the new dual lands are helpful for the mana.

I really like this deck. I use it to complete dailies. I have a full set of vandals and I included concerted defense to prevent sweepers and other expensive spells but I see how your build is more consistent. Im short on rare wcs so i dont have a full set of realmwalkers which i think is the most useful khm card in this deck (apart from pathways). So I added 2 copies of mystic reflection that i got on packs to jank with the squad commanders

I've had success with a couple copies of concerted effort. It hits alot in the current format, but is especially useful with alot of 4 mana wraths, and to a lesser extent Tibalt's trickery in the format.

I am surprised not to see any glasspool mimic as I am pretty sure it actually counts as 2 party members a lot of the time. I had a full party with only three creatures because of it on arena. Still maybe tap lands are just to garbo when you need to curve out. Love the vids thanks for the awesome video as always

Taplands are indeed pretty rough in this deck. That being said you could try to fit in a few Glasspool Mimics. Copying a Trapfinder or Squad Commander with a full party can be quite powerful, even if it might be a little win-more in most situations.

In my meme garbo version on a dream draw I could curve out Archpriest Trapfinder into Glasspool mimic the Archpriest for a full party on 3 but its still a bit of a meme dream especially in a world of heartless acts. What I mean to say is that the shapdhifter dude on three at least in a game I had counted as two party members so with three creatures I had a full party. I think it had something to do with rule 700.8b where "if there are different ways to count such a creature that results in a different number of creatures in a party it is counted in a way to get the highest result" then again maybe I am crazy and just totally imagined it

Are apprentices actually good in this deck? There are so many great white 2 drops to play over them, or is the critical mass of 1 drops too important to get full party faster? And gladewaller seems really underwhelming compared to other 2 drops we can play, even though it's shapeshifter.

The Scry 2 is actually surprisingly relevant in a synergy deck like this. And as you said, the critical mass of cheap creatures is incredibly important. Once our deck starts going off with card draw, we can make up for the fact that some creatures are below average. Same reason why Gladewalker is still worth it, those creature types make the deck work.

There's a counter to everything. I'm still convinced the biggest problem arena has is the best of one format. Trickery isn't as good games 2 and 3, and mtg is a best of 3 game at heart.

@@jerodast fair enough. I'm not saying trickery isn't insane, I personally think it should never have been printed and would be glad to see it banned. If you think standard and historic are bad, look at what its doing in modern. The card has consistency there with near guaranteed turn 3 emrakul. At least modern has access to cards like surgical extraction/thoughtsieze there to just totally shut it off. I'm just saying the fact that most people play best of 1 on arena really adds to the ability for degenerate decks to just rampage and win non-stop. Bogles is a great example of this. It very consistently wins game 1 every time it shows up, but games 2 and 3 are usually much more difficult for it.
