This deck is something I use to play back in odyssey block extended, but it was W/R and used About Face to achieve the same results. Used things like fiery temper etc to make the difference though. Still think you could build it as a pauper deck...

I love the irony of pauper. The format where you're only allowed to use commons allows cards that are banned in every other format. Here in pauper, we aren't afraid to play with power.

TheRealSarceus most of the cards legal in pauper but banned in other formats are draw spells and such that are too powerful for setting up some ridiculously cheap combos that wizards doesn't want to win that consistently fast. Pauper has WEAK combos compared to modern and legacy, usually they're way easier to disrupt, like this one

I haven't forgotten about Tireless Tribe, Wedge. But rather than Inside Out, why not try About Face (from Urza's Legacy, and also a common). It's one red, and does the same thing as Inside Out. With the right draw, that's a turn 2 kill!

I'd personally play Slip Through Space instead of Shadow Rift. It gets around any shadow creatures they might be playing (not likely anyone is playing any), and gets around your opponents sideboard of Pyroblasts in red decks. Also, I'm thinking of possibly adding Cunning Survivor to it.

Slip Through Space seems like a marginally better choice than Shadow Rift, just because there's always a tiny chance your opponent will be able to deal with shadow. Side note, I didn't know about Shadow Rift until just now, and I like it a lot. It's a good way around forced blocks!

I feel that you should have mentioned that you can discard cards after inside out resolves to continue to pump Tireless Tribes power. Explaining that changes to power and toughness are always applied before swapping power and toughness as they are each applied in separate layers. Though you did imply this at 6:00 when you mention that having Tribes in play and having 5 cards in hand -one which being Inside Out- wins you the game, because you have to discard the card you drew off Inside Out after it resolved. Explaining this in interaction with a little more detail couldn't hurt. Nonetheless, still a great Deck Tech overall.

No one ever said Pauper is a "weak" format, and if they did they were very misinformed. Many of Magic's most powerful cards are available for use in the format and is really a testament to Wizard's early design days where even the commons were sometimes bonkers.

autofigure also pyro/hydroblast are incredibly popular in the format so slip avoids them. Probably good sideboard tech in case they carry pyro tbh

+TheManaSource Sorcery speed means less than you think it does. The point of Shadow Rift is that it offers evasion during the turn you're going to attack and replaces itself. Slip Through Space does the same thing, so the only reason to run Shadow Rift is to use it for things that aren't just generating evasion for your Tribe. Unfortunately, that list is basically comprised only of "cycling" the card at the end of your opponent's turn if you need something else and can't afford to do that during your own turn. Is it worth running an easier to counter evasion trick for the benefit of instant-speed cycling? Maybe. That's going to be a preference call, though.

This would cause the creature to die as a state-based action, since it would have 1 (or more) damage marked on it when its toughness becomes 1. There's no time to discard the card that Inside Out gives you because state-based actions do not use the stack.

HEY WEDGE!!! I think you should try using the card Slip Through Space instead of the shadow card. Slip is WAY better in the fact that it gains unblockable instead of shadow and the fact that it is colorless. Not to mention it still draws you a card. Just an idea if i use this deck i will be using Slip Through Space from Oath of thr Gatewatch.

Couldn't we find a spot for delver? Most of the deck is instants and sorceries anyway, and it could help pressuring the opponent if we have trouble assembling the combo.

My immediate reactions went somewhere along the lines of "Oh, hey, ancient cantrip spells are in season? Glad I bought my ink-treader deck early", and then I was like "But why not Twisted Image". Turns out Twisted Image (Inside out for 1 blue) is uncommon. Such a shame.

What about Artful Dodge for the evasion? Either cast it for U or better yet, pitch it to the GY for the +4 and then flash it back.

Yet another blue and white deck that I can get behind. It's even better than the last because this one in HIGHLY aggressive, which is something you rarely see in blue and white decks, unless it's that one deck where every creature has flying. I digress though, this is also another deck I kinda wish was legal for Modern. Just wanted to point out, Slip Through Space is 100% better than shadow rift. Same cost, but gives it straight unblockable and had devoid so it cant be hit by Pyroblast. Also sorcery speed means dispel doesnt work either.

Your statement is a bit hyperbolic. Slip Through Space is a sorcery, while shadow rift is an instant. But I do agree partially that Slip Through Space is the better option most of the time, especially in the mirror as it can't get dispelled.
