Modified the manabase a bit after the video as I found it had too many colorless lands. Also swapped virtue for an elspeth smite since lots of aggro. Remember that Caretaker triggers on your opponents turn as well make the token from fountainport or mirrex on their turn to draw a card.

If you didn't see my pinned comment, just make sure you are using the manabase with the elegant parlors (updated aetherhub link as well). Going forward I'd swap one citadel for the 2nd elspeth smite to help with mono red

Nice video! Looks like aggro is definitely the #1 pick for standard atm. May I ask what's your favourite deck to play for climbing the ladder and if you think this Boros list is worth crafting to climb the ladder? Or should we stick with your Mono R list for that?

I personally enjoy playing mono red most but that is my playstyle. I think based on the current meta this Boros list is a good meta call. Ultimately the climb in Bo1 can be a bit of a grind so play the deck/archetype you’ll have the most fun with. Makes the experience more enjoyable

The Eternal Wanderer is definitely a card that should be in this deck. Went down to 26 lands and added 2 Elspeth's Smite and 1 Wanderer.

Will try this out since I’m stuck at the top of platinum at the moment after plateuing with the mono red “rakdos” list. Thoughts on adding 1-2 copies of High noon to this list? I’d cut down from the 28 lands. Seems like the deck likes to play at instant speed and has mana syncs in the land so thought that card could work well vs all the Meta decks

28 lands seems a little high to me. what do you think about shaving 2-3 lands to include clayfired bricks? the bricks can find you lands and can turn into more tokens later and pump the tokens you do have. you can even craft it with a carrot cake.

not standard, but maindecking 4 aven interrupter in my white alchemy decks has absolutely curbstomped the heist decks. you get your own card back for free AND tax every subsequent heist card, highly reccomend

Just shave 2 lands for 1 mana removal, 28 lands in this deck makes no sense anyways. Yes you want to use your token lands every turn but I don’t think that would be a problem at all. But there really isn’t any other good 1 man removal in these colors anyways so i’d stay with it as is.

Actually didn’t even notice the 28 lands. I did drop virtue for a elspeth smite and tweaked the lands a bit since the video (played elegant parlor but didn’t cut any).

@@MTGJoeI’ve been playing a monowhite one for a few days now, not sure the helix and torch and artifact are worth the tougher mana. Control really hasn’t been an issue the thats the only reason I can see for the artifact. But it does end games faster.

You are wrong actually, you don't want to miss any land drop in a deck like this and you want enough colored sources to be able to play multiple Fountain Port and MIrrex, so 28 lands is totally correct here.
