Installing Turbine Frame 1 on top of the Fortress! 2

It was quite the work to get the Turbine frame up and in position. There were many hurdles and a few setbacks, but here is the full video on how I finally got it installed..... Only Frame 2 left to assemble and install now... Lol

Since you will be hauling more stuff up than just the wind turbine components, you might devise an "A-frame" with a pulley and a pivoting base (hinge). Lay the A-frame down to get the initial pull, when the load reaches the top it pivots up and inward to safety. Might be worth the time to build.

Yes that would great to build a A- frame off the two big beams 10' or 12' up so you can bring the pieces up past the landing and swing it in as lowered it down. Also need a nice come along to pull stuff in on the landing when working by yourself up there!🤔😉👍

yes a derrick - crane was invented a while ago - my gandfather was a stone mason, his yard derrick could achieve amazing feats, back when batteries were only for starting a vehicle (pony motors ran accessories).

The Crosby clips terminating the cable to the hook are on backwards. You also should have more tail coming out of the Crosbys, also possibly more Crosbys. (You would have to look up the specifics for your cable size, but I highly suggest you do)

They said it took like 20-30 years to build the great pyramid and theres like over 2 million MASSIVE blocks some we would have trouble moving today.. so to place all those blocks in that amount of time means you have to do like 1 every minute 24hrs a day for 30 yrs.. and that doesnt count bringing them from the quarry some over 500 miles away and then shaping them all PERFECT.. it took like 180 something years to build Notre Dame .. and thats massive and beatiful but nothing on the scale of the pyramids

Also the time frame is merely an estimate since there is no actually record stating how long it took, meaning it could have been longer. Just speculations. We built the Empire State Building in less than 2 years, now just think about that. It only seems crazy to us because we couldn’t witness the construction, but when you have literal tens thousands of slaves working specifically to build one thing, chances are you will achieve that goal fairly quickly, no matter the cost in lives.

And they didnt have work animals or the wheel. Belive me i understand what your saying but theres something missing. And they were meant to be tombs allegedly so they had to be completed either during the Pharaohs lifetime or shortly thereafter and some of those pharaohs did not live very long

Alan... Maybe you could build a "A-Frame" with a pully and attach it to the two I-beams that protrude from the side of the building. If it were attached out away from the building it would keep stuff from hanging up on the building as it is lifted up. Maybe make the A-fram tall enough so once and item is high enough take some 2x6's and span it across the I-beams under the item to maneuver it on to the concrete floor.

You needed that wooden hoisting frame right from the beginning. It would've make your live so much easier. You have enough blocks on that level to create the counter balance. I must tell you Alan that there was a former neighbor I had in PA, that was an older gentleman named Peter D. He was always finding ways to make use of discarded items. He had worked on steam shovels that were used to move Anthracite coal from the Coal Mines to the trucks waiting below for the loads. Peter's brother had also worked with the steam shovels & often called Peter when there were issues with the heavy equipment. A giant bolt broke on one of the shovels & the replacement bolt would take 2 weeks to be replaced, often longer. To order it & wait for it to arrive, would hold up the production of strip mining. So Peter would search for a bolt for his brother to repair the shovel faster. Most times Peter was the man to trouble shoot ordering replacement parts, after all the bolt that Peter found was keeping coal miners working alongside The Anthracite KING, Once known as the largest Steam Shovel in North America ! When I was in my early 20's I was able to park my car inside the shovels bucket, along with several other vehicles one Saturday afternoon ! That took place in Northeastern Pennsylvania, where to this day in the year 2023 many of the residents still heat their homes with Anthracite Coal ! I saw the coal cars that you showed to David Sparks & his crew, those may still be around the area where I grew up in PA. There had been a movie about the coal mining days called The Molly Maguires, where some scenes were filmed in Eckley, PA.

Bolt down a genny rig to those beams and raise your winch to the upper section. Build a ramp out of block and that plywood. The genny will be two legs forming an A with the wide base at the building edge. When the load reaches the apex of the pole, the A frame pivots, lifting the load and bringing it over the building. With straps reversed back to the end of the protruding beam you can lower the load by letting the a frame pivot over center. Disconnect the A frame and continue winching up the ramp. Keep the ramp and winch set up to skid block up to the higher level. Tracks, wheels and a cart would be nice too. Man with your talents should have a pivot crane built up top already. Always a blast watching your build. Thanks Wizard, appreciate you sharing.
