The announcer is the legendary Laker play by play announcer Chick Hearn. I consider him the best basketball guy I've ever heard. Hall of Fame stuff. That said I agree with you.

Putting aside the political climate at the time, we can only imagine how much greater Ali would have been if he wasn't banned for 3 1/2 years. Ali's jab was a thing of beauty. He was able to slip thunderous knockout punches with his uncanny reflexes by pulling his head back. The greatest of all time!
