Watch how Frazier waited for Ali to put he’s coat on first because Ali said put you’re coat down don’t back out and got in his head with that and Frazier thought it was real

Such a great entertainer. Nowadays if people try to hype a fight the only way they can do it is by trying to make it look like real beef. They didn't need to swear or pretend to act like gangsters. Just pure class.

Their first fight was March 8, 1971. My wife and I got married in Cleveland March 20 and went to NYC for our honeymoon. We had tickets for the Tonight Show and one of the guests was Muhammed Ali. It was his first public appearance after the loss.

The famed shuffle at 1:55 was fantastic! In street clothes and loafers? Had to laugh that Frazier was grabbing for his jacket immediately after.

This must have taken place after their first two fights. Frazier won the 15 round first fight by unanimous decision in 1971. Ali won the 12 round second fight by unanimous decision in Jan of 1974. Ali won the third and last fight by TKO in the 14th of 15 rounds in October 1975.

@@covertyankee , interesting. So Frazier had already won once and Ali was pretty cocky then having not beaten him yet.
