Their first fight was March 8, 1971. My wife and I got married in Cleveland March 20 and went to NYC for our honeymoon. We had tickets for the Tonight Show and one of the guests was Muhammed Ali. It was his first public appearance after the loss.

This must have taken place after their first two fights. Frazier won the 15 round first fight by unanimous decision in 1971. Ali won the 12 round second fight by unanimous decision in Jan of 1974. Ali won the third and last fight by TKO in the 14th of 15 rounds in October 1975.
