Thanks Joshua. I have a future vision to expand into Solar, Security Sales, Window Sales, and Home Remodeling as many of these principles and trainings apply :)

I love your vids and quality of material. I may have missed it somewhere, but do you have a general timeline of how long you give between touches? I.e. knocked Monday, mail letter... 3 days, 2 weeks, etc? Or time between each step? Thanks so much for the material!

Great question! And thanks for being here and commenting. This one will help many people watching too :) Generally speaking, I like to hit the same neighborhood over and over again. So if I knock Monday at 11am and no one is home. I leave the letter. Mail the letter that night. Usually it'll hit their mailbox in 1-3 days depending on the ol' USPS 🤣 --- BUT, if you're in the neighborhood again Tuesday at 3pm -- you should still knock the door because they may have seen the letter at the door. So if you catch them home, AWESOME. If not, come back again after the letter showed up. In other words -- make the most of your time with the primary goal of making contact. Make sense?

On point info! Great multi touch marketing, could include a picture of a roof that you did in the area, a "pardon our dust type letter or post card". I would like to see info on how to use FB to target these customers also.

Joe, Great idea about using FB. There are two different approaches - one for owners to use (so they can use their business page) and one for general sales reps to leverage their own social media pages. Great idea for a future video :) PS Just replied to your email ;)

Here in Florida I'm about to use the county property appraiser website. If the site address and homeowner mailing address match then they own. If not they rent. I then mail a letter to the investor. Spokeo works well to get the homeowners phone number and email.

Dig it, Brian :) You bring up a great point about the address matching vs. not matching. Other apps to get this data are Landglide, OnX (hunting app), and Huntstand ($29/yr).

What's a good way to get homeowner addresses? Or is it better to just fill out your own sheet as you go?
@TheRoofStrategist
@TheRoofStrategist 4 жыл бұрын
Great question, Chad! I personally fill out the sheet as I go so I make sure that I'm mailing the right houses that I knocked. That way I can show back up and reference the letters that I mailed or left at the door. If you do that, you can use this strategy to get the homeowner name and info: kzbin.info/www/bejne/rqe5pIJjmZqAsJY Also, canvassing apps like Spotio offer this data inside the app. Does this answer your question?

Run hiring ads. Hire green beans and train 'em up. OR target D2D industries like window sales, solar, pest control, direct TV, and security systems. Lots of people in those industries who may burn out or get bored and look for something new :) I recommend a pay-per lead compensation plan (with a minimal hourly base if needed).
