Alright, Russ, you proved me wrong. In my last comment, I thought I had nailed down your secret sauce to your talent for longer form content intrigue and thorough product investigation. But it turns out your secret sauce is your integrity. And your patience. And your caring. The way you handle your vendors (and the community that relies on you for your perspective) is awe inspiring. In a content creation era that incentivizes selling out (or more superficial, fly by night assessment), you continue to raise the bar in standards of quality and consideration. Bravo, brother, thank you for ALL that you do for the community! For all that we hear about, I imagine there’s so much more behind the scenes … like your comments on other KZbinr’s videos, for example. @@mcgritty8842 Of course we don't need that many. But they will continue to make more of these, as long as they'll sell plenty of them. Honestly if you want multiplayer it's probably better to do it on a TV. If you don't have a PC you can also just use an android device or something or even your phone and some wireless controllers. It's a neat feature, but unless you have some kids who like to play with each other (or if he/she has a friend that also has this device), I don't think there's all that much use for multiplayer on these systems. At least practical usage. Of course if you really just want multiplayer on this device and have someone who wants to do ut with you, you can also use this.

What would be really cool, is PS1 emulation of the link cable (if you had, on the day, 2 PlayStation, 2 television sets and that Link cable, you could play against someone and have dedicated tv for each, no splitscreen needed), so that each player looks at his handheld as he looked at his own TV... en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PlayStation_Link_Cable. I pre-ordered my Miyoo-Mini Plus using your Keepretro link on the day it was available in February, I was on the first batch. 2 months after it still hadn't shipped, but it was announced as in stock in their store and people from later batches had received. So I e-mailed them and they told me that they didn't ship because they didn't have purple, then I asked them to ship the grey and instead they refunded me. Paypal notified me that I was refunded but 3 weeks after it I still haven't received it on my credit card. I probably will receive it 2 months from now, but I doubt I will receive anywhere close to what I paid because I will have to pay expensive currency conversion fees twice and my currency valued compared to USD. I never intended to borrow them my money for 5 months with negative interest rates, I wanted the Miyoo, so I definitely think you have more to discuss with them before you can keep recommending them.

13:37 "We will need to adjust Settings → Disable Auto-Save." 👉Just a pure instruction without a short background explanation. That would have been nice. In your other videos you very often give those background infos. 💡My assumption: Due to the save operation kicking in possibly at different times and possibly also taking a different amount of frames/cycles/time the participating devices would get asynchronous pretty quickly. Anyhow, this is meant as a constructive feedback for your upcoming videos. ❤Overall I like your channel and videos a lot! Well produced content!

Hi, I appreciate the feedback. I had recorded some voiceover about the issue, but didn't keep it in the final edit. We're not sure why this is happening, but given that Netplay requires the core to support save states, it's likely linked to that. Either way, if you keep it on it will freeze the game when you try to start as a host.

@@RetroGameCorps Thanks for sharing what you learned about this so far! For future videos, I think a short info like "We researched why this is the case. It may be X, or Y. But we have no conclusive answer yet. Should we learn more on it we will share it in the video description or upcoming videos on the subject." Feels better than ending abruptly & leaving an open question. These extra 5-10seconds are probably worth it, b/c leaving something open, which potentially bothers a large section of your audience, then these viewers are mentally elsewhere, and need another 5-10 secs to get their attention back to the running video, possibly need to rewind again, so no "time saved" eventually. Anyways, I very much like your journalistic style and how you do your show! Keep on the good work!
