It's utility depends on where a person lives also. Like for me, I'm more eager for line 11 since it connects Wadala to Gateway of India and passes through places like Byculla, Bhindi bazar, Crawford market, etc. For me that underground route has more significance.

I see just one challenge. The stations are confined and underground. Anyone who has been to Rajiv chowk station Delhi in rush hour will know what I am talking about. Imagine Dadar or Thane level crowd in these underground metro stations. One stampede and no one will be able to manage.

All underground needs strong ventillation. Since the weather is humid, sweating and stinking is high. Govt needs to make use of solar energy for strong ventillation. Also this year BKC metro (underconstruction) had rain water going in from road. 😢

The Ticket Prices Are Set On Permanent Basis Or Is It Gonna Change Further? I Am From Ahmedabad And Here The Metro Ticket Price For The Same Distance Like Aarey To Bkc Is Just Rs15 To Rs20. I Know Its Mumbai So It Could Be Expensive Than Ahmedabad But It Seems Way More Expensive! This Seems Concerning Coz Not Every Local Train Rider Could Afford This Metro On Regular Commute. Then This Metro Line Could Just Seem As A Viable Option For Connection To Airport And Major Railway Stations Only.
