If you pause at 4:10 (sort of an aerial wide shot) you can see the house band in the up-right corner. I think this is the regular stage and they tossed carpets down and invited people on to the stage to sit down. It's amazing how you can transform a space like this.

Watched and listened to the performance on t.v. Really difficult. Two chords. Rotten vocalisation. Oh, and the deep groovy movement when nothing moves. A truly lame composition. I'm not being a dick. This was really the most amature piece I've ever seen. Couldn't believe it.
@musicbymikew
@musicbymikew 5 жыл бұрын
Rotten vocalization? Are you deaf? Listen to the album and come back to me on that one. This album has some of the most passionate vocals and lyrics from them. Especially live. Think before you write such an uniformed comment.

@@musicbymikew Now, I only commented on this performance, and that's all. I guess MaS, (being on national t.v.), gives "uniformed' viewers like me opportunity to comment without being a fan or spending money. I'm sure they are grateful that you are "passionate" in their defense. Listened to the album...they show that they do what they can and have done all they do. Great, and thanks. No worries.

@@jsmcewing4221 In reality, even though I like Mumford and sons as they do have great songs I think this was the worst possible choice of song to present them to first time listeners. I would definitely not give them a second look after hearing this one. I think Delta would have been a much better choice due to the power it has, the building of emotion and the lyrics. Cheers

Hate to be that guy but they lost their charm for me after the first album. They've strayed away from the folk-rock anthems like Little Lion Man, The Cave and Roll Away Your Stone (check out the Glastonbury performance, amazing) which had poetic lyrics and atmospheric-yet-unique musicality and gone towards a very bland 3-chord ballad style that's far too simplistic and accessible for people who aren't fans of theirs. Meh
