Love the host so much~ you can tell she knows and loves her food just by the way she eats. And I love it that she accepts the different culture and tries everything, even raw pork in another episode. I'm Irish, living in America. You can say a lot of bad things about Americans, but not that they aren't generally extremely friendly and welcoming. On the other hand, I've travelled all over the world and Berliners are BY FAR the rudest people I have ever met.

I wouldn't know about Berlin Dave, but I do know about American behavior, I live in the US. When I was younger more people in this country were far nicer than they are in this day & age. And I've lived in quite a few locations in the US. (Husband is military) I didn't say *all* americans, but a many of them.
