It was really weird seeing Frank have to fold his arms, lean against a countertop, and actively stop himself from helping ... he's usually so helpful and engaged with his hosts but this guy was like "My pizza is sacred, keep your filthy peasant hands off of it." It reminds me of that guy in either the Rome episode or the Naples episode ... who said "You're a baker, you're a pizzaiolo, not a heart surgeon." Meaning pizza isn't a religion and shouldn't be so damn serious.

The Philly taco is not a thing. That is made up. I've never heard of that. Also Jim's is terrible and you can get a better cheese steaks at almost any corner store or mom and pop pizza shop.

maggiefitzpatric yup..Philly girl..never tried that taco thing..shits corny. Plus Max's have the best cheese steaks.

+Madiyah That taco is clearly made up. I've never seen it and I don't know anybody that has seen it in real life. You know it's probably just a flock of suburban kids eating that shit on their trip to "the city" thinking they tough because South Street is so edgy, right???? Max's and Explorer's Den in Olney are great but Abner's in West Philly is my favorite tho.

that Norma lady is amazing!! never made pizza before and she just decides one day not only am I gonna become a pizza maker but I'm gonna become an award winning one. Her pizza looked awesome as well...if they'd have told me she'd been doing it for 40-50 years i'd have believed them.
