She was my professor and one of the best at ETSU. You could never ask a " dumb" question because she had a way of turning it around and giving you the best response. Annette Harvey took a life that was still needed in this world, and I hope she is prosecuted to the full extent of the law. RIP, Professor Leonard. Thank you, Alex, for sharing your incredible mother with us all.

I hate when people talk about “pulling the plug”. My dear son died after 6 days on life support in ICU. It was a decision in which we were full partners with the medical team. Everything was explained carefully and with great compassion, and we were at his side throughout the process of withdrawing treatment, being supported every step of the way, including agreeing to Ben’s organs being donated. It was desperately sad, but handled with the greatest of care in calm and peaceful surroundings. Describing it as “pulling the plug” is insulting to the deceased, their loved ones and the dedicated staff who do this most challenging work.

I think it is incredibly disrespectful for the lawyer doing the prosecution's opening statement to not remember key dates and ages. Vague statements make the victim, involved children, and others referred to seem unimportant and not valued. I hope it's not the case because the 'down home' affectation & lack of specificity looks like he's just going through the motions. I've seen a high number of opening statements in a range of cases, and where the lawyers show genuine care & respect, they often prevail. This may be a correlation and not a causitive variable, I am not a lawyer or legal researcher so it's just my observation. But if it was my family member who was killed, or children kidnapped by someone displaying unusual behaviours, I would not want this lawyer's opening statement. I would be devastated by his lack of mastery of key details. I'd feel he did not care, that he is not truly invested in presenting a comprehensive, clear, & correct case. Just my thoughts. I hope he gets better as the trial progresses or that his role is minimal, and someone else can advocate for the victim and others impacted by her death.

I cant follow what he saying, confused is an understatement to say the least. Have zero knowlege of what happened, Not guilty is this best you can do sir

This prosecutor is so SO very boring. Bumbling, rambling. I've seen other prosecutors reading from a pre-prepared statement, thus displaying professionalism and care. This guy is relying only on his MEMORY. So bad.

I think the prosecutor is doing a really great job explaining and tells the story slowly. He has a good delivery.

I wish she had used her education to recognize mental illness and avoided the tragedy. Not saying its all on her, many other missed opportunities to get a woman with mental illness off the 'streets' and some help. I feel for her and her family.

This prosecutor is terrible! Keeps forgetting details like the dates and childrens ages, just guesses and say whatever! Appears very unprepared or doesn't care to know the details of the case. The out of sequence way he tells the story is confusing and convoluted.

This prosecutor is terrible. I cant follow his weird side commentary and it's BORING. This jury has to be half asleep if not snoring.

He sounds like teenager. Whatever. Or some age. I don’t know. So on so forth. Blablabla. Is he bored. Not very precise for a murder case. I think she was??? Maybe. Sort of. Kind of. All that not so clear language. Nope !
