How to load buckshot- Lee load all 2

The trick is to only meter the powder with the press. The rest is done by hand.

I made a bunch of buckshot out of wind jammers with the petals cut off but they're kinda limp. The brush wad method is great and I beat the lead fouling by powder coating my buckshot. My bpi order arrives today and I've got 23lbs of shot cast and coated to load. Gotta make sure I can keep my new SOE Rapid Response chest rig full for my police magnum. I also ordered a full bore slug mold from MP Molds. I'll put those on top of a brush wad with about 40grns of Longshot and a roll crimp. I got 3 guns to try. 835 slugger rifled, 870 police magnum and 870 26" barrel with carlsons rifled choke. I'm betting the slugger shoots touching holes, the 26" choked does a little worse and the police barrel gets laughed at.

Hi question, where do you buy those hulls already with primers or without primers?. I just want to reloader for shooting clays. Thanks

I have a few videos on loading for shooting clays. I get most stuff from ballistic products incorporated BPI for short. You can buy hulls primed or unprimed. I buy new hulls primed because if you catch them on sale they're cheaper than buying hulls and primers.

Are you using 2 3/4 hulls for the 8 pellet buckshot

@@johnneidert4184 absolutely. I have used 9 pellet loads and only loaded 8 with great success. 8 pellet loads are lower pressure because of the lighter payload, and they pattern better.

I'd love to see anyone do the 2 and 3/4 inch 00 buckshot 9 pellets with long shot with the appropriate weight on the digital scales with the plastic wad I see a lot of 3 inch 3 and a half inch but no one seem to do 2 and 3/4 quarters shells with long shot

That's my go to for buckshot, but I am currently out of powder. I will try and do a video when I get some back in stock.
