I injured my upper arm three months ago. First tendonitis for 10 weeks now more muscle tightness some periodic pain and weakness. First l thought it might br bicep tendonitis but a sports therapist thinks deltoid muscle. Personally it maybe a rotar cuff issue with deffered pain in the arm. Had three separate treatments of prolotherapy it does seem better but still tender and stiff at times. l Must wait a few more weeks but l have incorporated some gentle exercise like wall push ups ,gentle arm stretches too.

Sorry to hear that. Like the gradually return with gentle exercises and see how the body responds. Good luck!

@PerformanceSportSpine l decided to see a doctor. He has arranged a ultra sound scan for my left arm and shoulder. He would not confirm a diagnosis until the results.. He asked if l wanted physiotherapy but l said no because without not knowing the cause that type of therapy may make it worse.

what if you stoped wotking out for weeks and you still have persistent pain even if you strech and keep actove at work
@PerformanceSportSpine2 жыл бұрын
Assuming no major injury or medical condition. You need to find the right entry point. Meaning the dosage of exercise that doesn't flare up your symptoms, allow adequate time for recovery and then gradually progress as symptoms allow.

Don't rule out Dystonia. I have tight back muscles and had A Electromyography (EMG) test. My neurologist gave me an impression with the results
@PerformanceSportSpine Жыл бұрын
Glad the neurologist was able to help you. However that is a rare condition and this video is regarding the much more common reasons for muscle tightness. Diagnosing and subsequent treatment interventions for neurological disorders is far too complex for a video to be able to address
