The Muscle-Up is the calisthenics skill, that every body weight fitness enthusiast or athlete wants to get. This video is a follow-up to the video I made three years ago, when I was aged 55, and got my first Muscle-Up. That video “How I learnt the Muscle Up in 3 Months. Age 55 Years”
has now been viewed over 600,000 times on KZbin. I then made a Muscle Up Tutorial “The Muscle Up Tutorial (with resistance bands) Made Easier” has now reached 1.4 million views. So this video is just to show, that it’s not all about strength, technique plays a major part, while staying injury free.

I wander how you dont have calluses issues/pain after doing so many reps.. I recently managed to do the muscle up and when I go to do my training session I find that after 10-15 reps of muscle up it starts to be very painful because of the calluses and I have to stop and switch to another exercise .

Hi, I do have calluses and sore muscles most of the time, but not bad enough to make me stop. Maybe gloves will help?

you can get hard skin file for calluses, id reccomend it because they can tear and cause infection
