When I worked at my gym James came in with his wife for a few days to get guest passes. Hands down the kindest & most attentive pro I’ve met. Hardly talked about the gym, just life & what there was to do in Florida when he was visiting. I’ll always root for James in any show he does. Great competitor & an even better man👊

A dangerous product that elevates one's blood pressure tremendously. Jaime Johal did a video all about it, with his own experience ending up with uncontrolled nose bleeds while he slept and waking up to bloodied pillowcases/sheets because of it. Would be better doing a natural tan or tanning machine... and save the Kidneys from harm from long term elevated pressure.

PORTSMOUTH! I went with Shaun Davis (RIP)In 1989.I was 18,he was 23yrs old. He was doing the guest spot/posing at the competition. Backstage I helped pump him up with a towel. Then he wanted me to put the towel over his head and spray Deap Heat all over him to give him a bit of colour and vascularity.there was a sign on the door saying 'no Deap Heat '.he said "fuck it, i'm the guest poser".that stuff stank the whole auditorium out.one competitor had to get his asthma pump out cause he couldn't breath properly. We went out for a curry after the competition. I slept in a little flat/apartment next to the one Shaun and his Mrs stayed in that night.in the morning that couple that James mentioned, that ran the show (if it's still the same couple ),said to me "that'll be just £5 then please".I was only making £60 a week back then. Good job I took £10 extra spending money for the weekend. We stopped for a walk around the shops in London on the way back cause we lived 100 miles up North from London. Everyone was staring at Shaun. A cameraman started filming him and it was live on a big screen in the shopping mall. Shaun was 70 pounds heavier than that 10 or so years later. ENORMOUS. Great weekend though.I miss him,as i'm sure a lot of people do.never be another Dinosaur! XXX

I'm our gym they can only have tripods on the floor during less busy times. Powerlifters film quite a bit to see form for depth of lift and also to check bar speed.

I think James has a ton of muscle and was hoping he did better than he did at the 2022 O. Something happened the last min in that prep when he was working with Patrick Tor. I cannot believe we are now at an age where multiple ppl in 1 gym at a given time are talking into cameras. Like anything in life, laws will be enforced because social media and randomly taking cameras to public places is sort of an intrusion of the public's privacy. This is really crazy to me and I am a part of this generation

Imo jon de la Rosa is also more complete than horse, antoine is more conditioned with just as good legs as horse and a better waist. Akim at his best will outmuscle horse and James but needs to be in shape. I could have any of those guys plus James in 4th. I think it will go to whoever is most shredded out of those 5 guys. That’s the battle for 4-8 (and maybe even 3rd)

I applaud Milos for showing restraint by not arguing about Dorian when James brought him up lol Dorian's heavy duty training style doesn't seem conducive to bringing out fine details and lines in the muscle. That could explain why James doesn't have the coveted striated glutes

Chris was at my gym in Amsterdam one time when he was visiting for checking out the coffeeshops. 2003 I believe. Dorian Yates also trained there at the time. Saw him 3 days a week with his son and whats now his wife. Cool times! I´ve met many pros over the years because I used to be a bodybuilding writer/journalist.
