The guitar effect you mentioned in the 2nd half of the song is the "reverse" effect. Whatever you play is fed through the pedal and the sound is played in reverse. There's a delay on the effect so it's incredibly difficult to make sound good.

I really miss Muse concerts!! 😭😭 I remember trying to get tickets for that concert, waiting for 10 am after class to buy them and it sold out in seconds. I cried!!! I am still not over it. Lmaoo They’re amazing live!!

Muse have incorporated a lot of musical genrens from classical to rock to metal to grunge to techno and pop and flawlessly incorporated them into their own style. When I hear Muse I hear,Pink Floyd,George Michael,Queen,Chopin,U2 and many more influences but to the point that it's just short of copying them and in a very respectable manner. I think Muse is a formidable band that pays hommage to all of the great musicians that came before them and have found a way to share all of those influences with the later generations. Besides all of that they are a band that carry out a strong,empathic,message to make people think about the world we live in. They are i.m.o. bringers of awakeness. P.s.English is not my first language,I hope this makes any sense to anybody out there,peace.
