Have you ever wondered where your soul goes after this life? We are sinners despite any tiny sins we commit like lying, bad thoughts, or cussing. It doesn't even matter how many good deeds we do because one little sin is bad enough already. We cannot make it up to heaven on our own will. Our God, Jesus Christ, decided to come down to Earth as a SINLESS human and sacrificed His life for our sins. Then He resurrected three days later! Therefore if you believe in your heart that Jesus Christ is your Savior, you'll definitely have eternal life. Your existence is proof that God is real. Consider this: A creation like you have a Creator. Only in the Bible does it mention that God is the Creator of mankind. God is the only one who can create your body, your organs, your features, your blood, and fingerprints. That is why nobody has the same finger prints nor DNA as you. Hundreds of gigs and hundreds of albums later, it is so difficult to find true rock music that is well played, creative, progressive, and interesting. This is the first recent Muse song that doesn't have a cancerous comment section, and for good reason, this is a good song.
@memorless6 жыл бұрын
I accredit the lack of hateful comments to the subjective viewpoint that this song sounds a lot like older Muse songs. The cancerous comments were spread by fans who were determined that Muse should make similar music to what they used to. Now that that has happened, those aforementioned fans are at peace with the band, resuting in a cancer-free comment-section. Also, it seems like you're hinting that the previous songs released recently are not "good". In that case - fuck you, Thought Contagion is awesome and Something Human is a perfect song to listen to after work driving home.
@HurricaneWind4256 жыл бұрын
@@memorless No, I was not saying that. I did like Thought Contagion, and Something Human, and I even liked Dig Down until I realized that it wasn't that good after multiple listens. I was simply saying that competitively, it is much better than their more recent ones, and it obviously came out wrong.
@memorless6 жыл бұрын
@@HurricaneWind425 ahh, no problem :) i didn't mean the "f you" part as strongly as it might have seen either. I agree on Dig Down with you, it's my least favoured amongst the recent songs too. Looking forward to November ;) when the whole album is out
@jamessmith12696 жыл бұрын
Something Human was a decent ballad but Dig Down was bland and lacked energy, this though has a real kick to it because of the backing track and is more like classic Muse even if it leans more on the electronic stuff. I do think this has helped to appease the classic fans and get people like me back in who skipped the Drones album.

Jks Yeah I would expect to like Thought Contagion but meh. I think Dig Down is solid and holds up even though it's not what I'd usually expect from them. I wish Thought Contagion and Something Human were scrapped. They just fall flat to me on repeated listens. This is a great song. I just hate when a band releases singles starting a year and a half from the album release, it's like I've heard half the album so far and I'm not impressed. Will be skipping at least 3 songs. At least Drones exists, shoulda been better but it was a solid, cohesive album.

Now that's a pure Muse track, operatic, passionate, otherworld and instantly memorable. No other band sounds like them except maybe Queen a bit, and that's why they are so good because they are original, and still release records like this that are very Muse but something new simultaneously. The video sees Matt looking very much like the singer in Hot Chip making a remake of Back to the Future😀

I‘m an so called old Muse fan but songs like this, the handler and a few others in their new albums are showing me that they can still produce good music. Yes it is different from their older style but this is the way it should be done. Create new music in a different fashion but to keep the key elements of what your music is known about.

It's this fusion of old, great Muse songs but at the same time I'm getting Aerodynamic by Daft Punk. I Want to Break Free by Queen and even Feel Good Inc by Gorillaz and in a good way as well as staying modern and relevant. This is the best Muse track in a long, long time.

Pity Muse have to pour their entire budget into the video to make up for the horrendousness of the song. When you listen to Radiohead the video is merely an accompaniment to the genius of the music. This is just flashy special effects to draw attention away from how god awful the song is.

You don't know much then. It's frightening. All of the classics of retro new wave are better by far. Its throbbing poverty, the blistering rhythm until the music itself is exhausted, the false promise of the title are all perfectly objective arguments to forget this music, and maybe the album entirely ... I appreciated the entire work of muse, without being a "fan", but I still remain lucid to recognize that they were wrong, unlike drones that I consider as an opus unbalanced but with some masterpieces (reapers, the handler).

So. I've been listening to the Alternative Reality version of this song for years, sharing the same feelings of the lyrics. I've been traped in a chasm for so long, trying to avoid reality, that I didn't realize things have changed around me. So I pray to come out. But after some reading and thought process, I just realized that part of myself wasn't always there. And while it will stay with me forever, I can still escape from the chasm, by working on myself, but always aware of who I am. Thank you Muse for this two Masterpieces.
