Polyphia do such a great job of when they have a feature, they write a song that sounds like something their feature would write turned into a Polyphia song. This album and the New Levels New Devils album do a great job demonstrating that.

As a bass player, I love this track and ABC a lot because Bass Clay gets a chance to shine a little more, whereas you know he holds back in a lot of places because he always knows when it's good to hang back and keep the rhythm going and when to go just as hard as the guitars. That ghost note section kills me every time, man. That shit is Claymania right there.

I saw them live a couple months ago and said to somebody else in line that this is probably the last time we will see them live before they blow up. I think artists are going to be lining up to do a track with them. After listening to this new album ABC made more sense to me. When they feature a musician they don't squeeze them into whatever they are playing. They truly collaborate and play to their guest. So in the case of ABC they played straight up cute pop music.

Anomalie was formely known as the keyboardist for Gramatik, but he started doing his own thing around 2016/17 if I remember correctly. He has changed quite a bit since his project's inception, but in recent years french romantic jazz has seeped in to most of his songs. If you decide to give some of his music a listen you should consider his debut single "Odyssée". It has a performance video and it is an absolute clusterfck of a song. Otherwise, his song 'Crescent' also has a great performance video, and is more in tune with his current style of music :). Cheers!

I think for this type of complicated and layer dense music, rewinding a listening again and again is nearly essential. I like this type of video more because it's more of an analysis than a reaction. It's what brings me back to channels like yours. I think the only reactor I'm subbed to that doesn't do the pause, rewind, and analyze bit is Critical Reactions. That dude is really smart though. The reactors that bother me are the ones that pause without rewinding. It's sort of disrespectful, I feel, I just skip over them.
