To me, the first vocals really sounds like a typical "Gates of Heaven opening before you", and then the next part is like "But you are going to experience hell!", or "I am here to save you!" and then "But the biggest villain is actually me!".

If you are curios, the actual Lyrics are latin: " Nex est totus in ter Medicus comodo servo vel nos mo osto tus inter Ah... " Roughly translating to "Death is all around but the doctor will keep all of us whole"

Fitting for a crazy german scientist like Medic. After all, he does treat his companions more as Guinea pigs.

Valve Studio Orchestra is really underrated in my opinion. Half-Life, Team Fortress 2, Left 4 Dead and Portal have amazing soundtracks that complement the respective game so much! So excited for your reaction!

The Left4Dead theme song has lived rent-free in my head for 15 years. I hum it to myself at least once a week.
@junba1810 Жыл бұрын
@@skribblestyle The Left 4 Dead and Left 4 Dead 2 ending themes are SO GOATED. But also the horde themes are amazing. They are so chaotic and all over the place. What you'd expect in a zombie apocalypse. Listening to them might seem odd but if you add gunshots, screaming, the character quotes and the players' comms it fits so well.
@aced4fun Жыл бұрын
Even CSGO had a good OST, back when the vibe was serious
@junba1810 Жыл бұрын
@@aced4fun 100% agree with you. The vibes of the CS:GO soundtrack were amazing. You had this kind of scary and stressful music before the CTs try and defend so nuclear plants from Ts or whatever the scenario was in each map....So good. CS2 has a more exciting soundtrack, the game is more focused on the "esports" potential. Realism ins't the core theme anymore and the soundtrack of CS2 perfectly reflects that.

One of my favorite things about this song is the Absolute Chaos at the end of it. I feel like that sums up playing the Medic very well. Because no matter how much good positioning and target priority you have, there is always the absolute chaos when a teamfight devolves and you get Roamers flying in trying to bomb you and having to pull off the best jukes while the rest of their team tries their darndest to get you.

my favorite thing about this soings is that the brass hits in the main part of the melody almost sound like the instruments are shouding "MEDIC!" like the characters do in the game when theyre hurt.
