Those harmonies are INSANE. The music I make is often inspired by Michael but I usually only do a 3-part harmony. I can see from this video that there's more to add! I'm gonna analyse those harmony chords! I definitely love his voice from the Off The Wall era - just extra warm and silky sonics. You know - silk sonic 😏

Michael was a great vocalist. His harmonies, vocal percussion, use of falsetto, the way he drives a beat etc is great. Also during the J5 years, I think Motown sometimes had him stack harmonies for some songs.

Michael Jackson Is Thee Greatest Singer Of All Time!😇🙌🏽👑💖🔥💫(That’s the power of MJ you can't really directly compare male to female singers. Because females are naturally in the soprano's range. However,no singer has a distinct tone, voice,character and range comparable to that of Michael Jackson. Every world class opera singer can sing like Mariah,or anyone for that matter But nobody can sing like Michael Jackson and still sound nearly as great as him in the history of mankind. This same applies to his live performances and dance moves. Also MJ real voice was his high pitched voice he inherited that from his mother Katherine Jackson who also has a softer tone in voice also MJ could go deep in his songs look throughout his catalog take the 1978 movie The Wiz for example MJ had a song in their titled “You Can’t Win” aka The Crow Anthem where he sings very low in key/tone MJ was so versatile within his vocal ability most don’t know or didn’t know that etc.)

I'm so thankful for you guys helping the world realize just how awesome Michael is! I can't use the word "was" because Michael will live forever in the hearts of millions ♥️! After that release, I always looked forward to hearing HIS harmonies. "Remember the Time", "Girlfriend", "Rock With You", Butterflies", etc! The harmonies are, the absolute BEST! great analysis and explanation. I have been a fan since 1971 and learned something new about MJ. I always know his range and transition was so easy and outside of a few artist I know that had such control. He always seemed to stay in his range to even live, I have found very few live performances were he went outside of his pocket.

This is cool. And yeah, Mike's deep voice went a bit 'viral' recently from a tweet captioned "Michael Jackson using his deep voice during a performance in Copenhagen, 1997" which had a short video clip from a performance of 'In the Closet'. There's also a couple of short clips here and there with his deep voice coming through and people who knew him personally have stories about his deep voice and them being shocked at first when hearing him speaking with it.
@betsareoff Жыл бұрын
Love this. His voice was amazing. Insane how good the breakdown of all his harmony parts is. so cool. Also this is one of my favorite MJ songs. What an ear he had. If you could find the uncut raw vocals for MJ's song Got the Hots that would be cool. The background harmonies in that song are out of this world.

@TheBohemianAngels2 жыл бұрын
@@shronazam276 Sure layers of layers of MJ's altering and enhancing his voice via multi effects with echos, flangers and reverbs. They may have also just raised his voice to different voicing keys to get the harmonies, along with the heavy use of the compression and enhancers.
