RED DOT FINGERING IS THE BEST IDEA YET. OTHER INSTRUCTORS SEEM TO THINK ITS EASY TO FOLLOW THEIR FINGERING BUT AT TIMES YOU CAN'T TELL WHICH FINGERS ARE TOUCHING WHAT. I HAVE BEEN FOLLOWING YOUR VIDEOS BECAUSE I LOVE THE WAY YOU EXPLAIN THINGS AND REPEAT THINGS SO THEY SINK IN. SO THANKS AGAIN FOR THE GREAT LESSONS.

Man, I can't stress this enough: you are the very best bass teacher on this website, and your lessons really are helping me in a time where I am not able to afford music classes. It is all amazing to me, how you explain everything thoroughly, the video editing being on point, and how it all makes sense to me. Thank you so much for these lessons, you are an inspiration to me.

Hello Richie. I'm 58 years old, and just bought my first bass a few weeks ago. Coming to the instrument rather late, I know! I want to thank you for your excellent instructional videos. I've watched your first 10 beginner lessons, and they have helped me enormously. I really appreciate the effort you make to explain the many small nuances of playing that others don't bother with. For a beginner, that makes all the difference in the world. I come away from your lessons feeling "Yeah, lets DO this!", rather than "what was that he was doing ... what did he mean by...". Your lessons make me WANT to practice, to develop the skills so I can see what's next. And, by the way, where can I watch some videos or hear some recordings of YOU playing in a group setting? Thanks again for all your help.

Hi. I’m 72 years old and started messing around with the bass guitar about six years ago. I have short little fingers compared to every bassist I have seen so far and was lazy about trying to learn to use it. I had surgery on my right wrist and elbow in 2019 and am just getting back to playing. I decided to do it right this time. I got my 5 string bass set up properly and started looking on KZbin for how to play scales. Your video on the C scale was the best beginner video I found. Thanks for getting me started properly. I’m looking forward to more.

Hi Sir, You are the best BASS guitar teacher ever seen on KZbin. Number One Bass Guitar training video on KZbin. You are calm too, you don’t rush. You care about the pace and learning tempo of your learners and students. You also teach with real life applications on screen and make it better understandable to a dummy. Also thanks for the positive attitude to make us aware that we can do it. Best KZbin Guitar Channel ever, teaching us one video at a time. Thanks so much for the memory pegs and onscreen assistance with the red dots. You are the only teacher on KZbin who understands that learners cannot follow the finger of the teacher without some kind of marker. Wise indeed! Keep it up Sir! You have my vote!

Narrated Abu 'Amir or Abu Malik Al-Ash'ari: that he heard the Prophet (ﷺ) saying, "From among my followers there will be some people who will consider illegal sexual intercourse, the wearing of silk, the drinking of alcoholic drinks and the use of musical instruments, as lawful. And there will be some people who will stay near the side of a mountain and in the evening their shepherd will come to them with their sheep and ask them for something, but they will say to him, 'Return to us tomorrow.' Allah will destroy them during the night and will let the mountain fall on them, and He will transform the rest of them into monkeys and pigs and they will remain so till the Day of Resurrection."

what sets this class apart from others with the same or identical titles is that it shows two versions or techniques of playing the c major scare (2 [notes per string]-3-3 and 3-3-2.) call it luck but in all my years i never came across this demonstration before. beside the bacon is that there is a clear view on where he places his fingers, so it is not veiled, the letters jumping in. then there is the clear crisp voice. it is my first view on this channel, will go on.
