This is our classical dance form and what she's wearing is not shoes, it's ghoongru. In classical dance forms, one has to wear those heavy metalic things to perform and with those things on legs it's becoming really tough to even move. But classical dancers just not only move they manage to dance with those. She is a legendary classical dancer. So before reacting on our classics, at least make your taste on classical

Sadly it is not. It disrespects an art form, which was actually BANNED during english occupation in India. To sing or do the taals, it can take years to perfect and to dance as well. This is an art form called kathak and karnatic. This video is heavily disrespectful and shows what the western world sees in the culture of minorities, a great example would be how they called her princess jasmine (the most heavily sexualized princess) just because of her clothes, which are traditional and are not sexual, and this is not even mentioning the fact that jasmine is ARABIAN not indian.
