Fun fact; Caitlin owns battle valet in the sinnoh region and several all over the globe but didn’t fight in pokemon battles because of her short temper of getting mad easily when she lose and how out of control her psychic powers are, she only sat and viewed the battle by someone else working with her called Darach. She then later went to the Unova region alone to train her mind alongside of her own psychic power and fights pokemon battles in elegance and grace and became the elite four in Unova. Her remix takes all of her characteristics with the drowning calm mind and the flute with elegance and grace only for it to end up soundly intense before it loops of her short temper. Not to mention she is only half asleep most of the time in battles, caitlin is that intimidating of an elite four and who knows how much of a powerhouse she is when fully awaken.

The literal reason she is tied for my favorite E4 member along with Lance. The lore behind her is absurd, and the fact that Lance is also a champion and HG was my first game AND Dragonite is one of my all-time favorite mons….

Was this ever stated anywhere in game. I know she's at the frontier in sinnoh and then in unova so we can guess as much more or less. However i don't recall any info being given. Granted it's been a while since i played the games.

Marshal's theme is definitely the hype theme that plays when he walks out at MMA tournaments. And for some reason, Kahili's reminds me of the Mario Golf soundtracks. It's definitely got that Motoi Sakuraba-esque flavor to it, particularly towards the middle.

I love how Acerola's theme has the Abandoned Thrifty Mega Mart theme in it, Kahili has Heahea City (because her dad runs the Hano Grand Hotel there), and Molayne has Hokulani Observatory's theme in it. They are such awesome details and I'm sad all of them don't have a reference to a theme that relates to them :( They are all still bangers tho

The flute in Koga’s theme may not completely conceal with the melody of the music but it makes his theme sound so intriguing and feels very much like you are indeed up against a Ninja. Definitely S tier Grimsley and Shauntal have bangers too, so your S Tier is pretty accurate.

Something I'd like to see from the masters reaction videos is one on miscellaneous battle theme like frontier themes second character specific battle themes you didn't look at and unique to masters battle themes. cause man, subway bosses, decisive battle cynthia, and battle lear pretty freaking amazing.

Hey emily, may I ask if you've heard the lance/steven/cynthia theme yet because I was hoping you reacted to it in the champions video. Also there's a bunch of other cool themes that you can react to but I don't know if they can be in a certain group. A few would be: Battle! Sycamore Battle! Lillie Battle! Sonia Battle! I enjoy playing Pokémon Masters EX, I never paid much attention to music in that game because I need as much focus as I could to beat the battles in game. But I think Shauntal's is my top one despite her being annoying with AOE burn status condition in game 😂. (There's also something funny about Agatha E4 stage in game, you could make her kill her Gengar LMAO)

I think for me based on the overall region it goes: Hoenn>Unova>Johto>Alola>Sinnoh> Kanto Unova was my favourite for a while but man the Hoenn themes just hit so hard. I still think those 2 regions are a clear step above the rest imo.

Tbh the original game's e4 theme os the only e4 theme i dont care for but after finding out that they give EVERYONE a unique remix in Masters, i look forward to all those remixes for Kalos and eventually your thoughts on them. Zinnia's theme was a bit disappointment for me but that's probably because my expectations for this edition were quite high, given how amazing this track was in the originals. And I really wasn't expecting Looker to have such a crazy good theme, but they gave him.

Poor Molayne, he was forgotten. :( But oh well, he wouldn't go above B anyway. His theme is average. Which doesn't say much when other themes are top tier, but still. :D Yeah, Koga's theme is just amazing. That flute is a godlike addition to the ninja theme. Overall, it does feel like you're against real ninja. But that's not all! Coin flip is outstanding for Grimsley. That one detail alone speaks about Grimsley so much. Love that "Ho! Hah! in Bruno's theme. You're against a man who dedicated his life to strengthening his body, and you can tell right away. Oh, and who could forget the guitar in Sidney's one! Fun fact: that guitar not only makes his theme so good, it actually references his profession in a manga as a guitarist. They added such subtle things to each theme (minus Sinnoh), it really speaks about the character itself. If Pokemon Master did one thing right, it was the remixes.

Always love your reactions. My favourite song among all the elite four was Caitlin's but I adore them all. Also Pokemon masters ex have Ash & Pikachu (for the first time in history that we have Ash as an playable character in an official Pokemon game)so they have their own theme. I hope react to them too.
